My experience with Gilchrist and Nickolas was outstanding, but that doesn't tell you much. I didn't intend on buying a new work truck but, last minute, decided to look for a Silverado Ev to t outstanding, but that doesn't tell you much. I didn't intend on buying a new work truck but, last minute, decided to look for a Silverado Ev to take advantage of the ending credit. I don't like buying vehicles and this was very last minute so I was on a mission. Nickolas gave me quick answers to all my questions over the phone so that I could be prepared. On the next morning for our appointment, there was a small logistical challenge Nickolas had to resolve. he was communicative with me about the challenge and worked quickly to not delay our appointment. Upon arriving, Nickolas started the standard vehicle overview, which I didn't need and when I told him we could skip it and the test drive, he didn't so much as flinch. He heard my reasoning and request and honored it. I knew I was working with a great salesman who would meet me where I needed him to be. The remainder or our time together reinforced my initial impression. When I gave him my needs, he heard them and relayed them to the managers in his organization who needed to know how I wanted the process to proceed. In between the business, we found a lot of common ground upon which we could each learn from each other and also laugh, a lot! In the end, the dealer made me an offer that was perfectly in line with what I was expecting as a good deal so we didn't need to pursue the standard back and forth that can be a major time annoyance at a dealer. I feel like I got a great deal and saved money and I believe Gilchrist feels like they got a fair deal and made money. Isn't this how a vehicle buying experience should be? I think so. Highly recommend Gilchrist and Nickolas and while I won't be buying a new vehicle anytime soon, they will be the first dealer I look to even though they are 40 miles from me. Very well done team. Also, the Silverado EV W/T is an incredible vehicle that will pay off it's cost over my old Colorado within only a couple years just based on fuel and maintenance alone.
