They appear as consistently understaffed. 30 minutes to drop a vehicle off an hour to pick a vehicle up not sure if this is people or process but vehicles been in 5+- times between May 24 & F 30 minutes to drop a vehicle off an hour to pick a vehicle up not sure if this is people or process but vehicles been in 5+- times between May 24 & Feb 25 and have been helped by someone different every time. The last time vehicle was in for engine light (same light it had been in for 3 times before) and 45k service, charged $1250+ for service… 2 air filters, tranny fluid, and ‘inspection’ Had to put a gallon of washer fluid in 3 days after picking the vehicle up but I was assured the service was done properly… Called to confirm that it is indeed their process to check and fill fluid. Service centers at dealerships are the worst but Gilchrist puts forth extra effort to make the process just a little more painful. Appears to me that they cater to fleet vehicles which may drive their response time. It took them 5 days to perform service and replace coolant valve. I assume they had to ship a part but was overly frustrated to the point I no longer cared to ask. More

Unfortunately we had a lousy experience. Had a faulty starter, felt like we were a burden by bringing our car in (based on our interaction with the service desk). Had a family road trip line Had a faulty starter, felt like we were a burden by bringing our car in (based on our interaction with the service desk). Had a family road trip lined up in a remote area and expressed my concern several times. I paid the inspection fee and they didn’t reset the warning sensor of a previous issue that this shop left, they didn’t change the starter like I asked, they insisted that everything was fine, which of course was not true. It really just felt like we were a burden to them as they are really busy. Our fears were met on our trip when the vehicle wouldn’t start in the remote area we traveled to. I had to change the starter myself as a service shop was not available. It was very difficult on vacation with two kids, dogs, snow, and lack of tools on a roadtrip. We understand these things aren’t a perfect science but this experience has left a bitter taste in our mouth, we even were looking at upgrading our vehicle this year but will likely look elsewhere. I would not recommend this dealership to any friends or family More
Dealer worked with us and helped us out with our questions and answered them accordingly. Customer service was great. Had to make an extra trip because they were short on mechanics that day and couldn't get job done first trip. Forget the name of the lady who assisted me but she had only been there 3 weeks, you would never know it but the way she did her job. Thanks Gilcrest More
