I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, but was surprised when I was told I needed several other items fixed. This really surprised me since I take my car in for regular maintenance. My last visi surprised when I was told I needed several other items fixed. This really surprised me since I take my car in for regular maintenance. My last visit was about eight months ago. Nevertheless, I agreed to the repairs which came to over $1900. When I returned to pick up my car the very nice service rep said he worked with the figures and managed to reduce the price by $300. Of course I was happy with the new number. My only issue is why wasn’t the lower figure given to me in the beginning. I’ve been pleased overall with the service at Gettel, so I’m not really complaining. I guess I was just startled by the various repairs need since my last visit a few months ago. Hopefully all is well now and my car won’t need any major repairs in the coming months. More

My car is 20 years old. When I went to parts I expected moaning and groaning about how difficult it would be to get what I needed. I contacted Gettel Toyota to get a battery replaced in our Lexus . Regrettably I was overcharged for it. They did not consider it as part of the Toyota family so I was not given the proration on the exist our Lexus . Regrettably I was overcharged for it. They did not consider it as part of the Toyota family so I was not given the proration on the existing battery even though the battery was installed by a Lexus dealer two and a half years ago. Ryan the Assistant Service manager was proficient but not flexible in handling the transaction. My Lexus dealer is fort five miles away , so I tried to avoid driving that far for a battery.
