I purchased my Venza there June 2021 and have had all of my maintenance performed there regularly since with a positive experience every time. I scheduled my 35k maintenance, which was tire rotation/multipoint inspection, for 7am on Monday, 4/22/24. I unfortunately had to wait for my vehicle. I didn’t think this maintenance would take long and I would be done with plenty of time to be to work at 12:30p. When I arrived Joe informed me there was as recall they could take care of as well. I agreed for the recall to be addressed. Joe was very friendly. At 10a, 3 hours after arriving, I sent a text to inquire on the status of my vehicle. After 15 min with no response, I went back to Joe and asked. He checked with the tech and said it should be done shortly. I asked if there was any more specific time frame as I had to work and had already been waiting for 3 hours. He said probably 15-20 min tops. Everything was completed by 11a, 4 hours after I arrived. I understand recalls, especially when involving computer or reprogramming, can take some time. Maybe a better approach would be to let the customer know an estimated time frame when they are offered the recall be addressed and even suggest they schedule an appt where they can drop off their vehicle. Had I known this was going to be a 4 hour ordeal, I would have scheduled a separate appt and made arrangements to drop off my vehicle. More
