Long Wait for Scheduled Oil Change Appointment - I drive over 45 minutes to get to this dealership as I have been using them for a few years now. I scheduled my appointment for first appointment of th drive over 45 minutes to get to this dealership as I have been using them for a few years now. I scheduled my appointment for first appointment of the day and when I got there i was told there would be a 3 hour wait. I expressed my surprise and disappointment as I was a 'first in the morning scheduled appointment'. Service advisor said they only had two service guys to do the worked and they were over-booked with appointments. She did offer me an Uber to get me home and then pick me up once service was done. I declined the Uber as I mentioned I would be in a car for close to 2 hours round-trip if I did this and it would best if I just wait. I waited two and a half hours to get my car back for a basic oil change. I got no updates during my wait - the text I got from the service advisor never showed an update during the entire wait. Always show - Awaiting Service. Not happy with this last experience and may be taking my Nissan(s) to another dealership for future maintenance. More
Hector was pleasant as a person but I did not feel comfortable with his attitude- he felt to be a disingenuous person and he did not give good advice. I was intending to get an oil change at 5500 mile comfortable with his attitude- he felt to be a disingenuous person and he did not give good advice. I was intending to get an oil change at 5500 miles even though my 2023 vehicle takes full synthetic oil…he insisted I can and should wait 10000 miles to do so. I expressed that I want to do what Nissan recommends as a manufacturer and to abide by my warranty requirements. I was uneasy about it but ended up not doing the oil change and researched it later on my own only to find out 7500 miles is the requirement (same as I expressed to him to be my knowing of what is recommended/required). A female service salesperson walked me to my vehicle after (I still did a tire rotation) and she gently told me that I was correct in 7500 miles being what Nissan’s guidelines are. (I appreciated her honesty and she also said it in a way that was very professional and polite) More

Hello Jev, Let me start with I have waited a week to reply to your email. I have been waiting to see how Gettel Nissan would address an issue I had about my Previously Owned Nissan Murano Platinum. reply to your email. I have been waiting to see how Gettel Nissan would address an issue I had about my Previously Owned Nissan Murano Platinum. The day after I purchased the vehicle I was concerned about a low level vibration when I drove this car on the Highway. It was just noticeable enough for me to be concerned about what I feared was a problem with the transmission. I called Pete Marron in the Sales department with my concern. He immediately told me to bring the car back to the dealership. I was there in 15 minutes. My salesman, Jev Edmond, there at the front door waiting for me. He helped me with my Carplay and then went for a test drive with me around the corner. He listened carefully. I felt like he heard me even though we did not drive on the highway to replicate. I was then referred to the service department. At the time I felt like I was being "passed around" ... but that was not the case. Danielle Goukler was terrific throughout the process. Thank you for acting so quickly on my concerns. On Monday I returned to the service department as instructed. It was at that time they determined that although the tread on the tire was good, unfortunately there was feathering on the tire. The recommendation was 4 new tires at $245/tire. I was not happy. I called and left a message with for the GM. Jim Hoy called me back first thing Monday morning. He immediately said, "Let us replace the tires". We did that this morning. I am very happy now. This whole experience could have been a disaster. Instead this experience has restored my faith in good customer service. Thanks again. Job well done by all.
