After going to the Venice Nissan for an oil change bc of a coupon, I had an experience there that made me feel like I was at a tire kingdom working with an associate who worked off commissions. The Venice associate told me that a part of my braking gear was leaking and that it would cost $600 to fix it and I should do it asap. I did not trust him so I waited awhile and brought my car back to you for a second opinion. I believe it was Jeff who helped me out but he explained to me how the Altima's braking mechanism had something wrong with it and it wasn't leaking. I still don't really remember everything he told me but he fixed my problem and I was very satisfied. He went out of his way to help me out and save me the $600 I would have spent in Venice. After my experience in Venice I will never go back there even for a 9.95 oil change. I feel lied to and deceived. Because of the honesty your dealership has shown me over the years, I will not hesitate on getting all future work done there. Thank you for your honesty and respect for someone that does not know everything about cars and taking the time to explain everything. More
I wanted to post a review thanking Rob Kinnie for all the lose ends he has tied for me. He did everything he possibly could for me when I had my car serviced at Gettel Nissan and I really appreciate it. My c lose ends he has tied for me. My car was difficult to diagnosis because the mechanics weren't given any codes to find out what was wrong with my car. The mechanics ruled things out one by one, and were able to find the cause. Although it wasn't easy for the reason being the parts would fail intermittently. The next problem was who was going to pay for these failing parts. The extended warranty I took out told me they weren't going to cover the costs because we couldn't prove to them that the parts had actually failed since no codes were coming up. Rob Kinnie took care of this for me and got my extended warranty to pay for the costs. I am so thankful he went above and beyond for me, and I want others to see how awesome of a dealership Gettel Nissan is. It's reassuring to know I found a dealership in which I can put my trust in. More

Robert is wonderful!! He greats me at my car, knows me by name, and opens my door for me. He makes the service appointments tolerable. My wait time is always normal to short. Mr. Kinnie took care of me as soon as I walked in the door. He listened to my problem concerning my new Nissan truck and took it seriously with no questions asked. I live on the east coast of Florida and was traveling to Sarasota when the battery went bad on my 2008 Nissan Armada. In the five years of having our vehicle serviced at Gettle Nissan we only had 1 minor issue a couple years ago and it was quickly resolved. Human nature doesn't allow people to be perfect all the time but Gtl Nsn comes close. The techs do a great job and I have no complaints with any of our services. Well Done. i bought an 05 Nissan Altima from my Dad with 30000 mi on it. He told me that he felt that Gettel Nissan where he bought it and had it serviced had always taken good care of him. I have had two Ford and have had three service dealerships with them and have had problems with all three. That has not been true of Gettel Nissan. From the start of my relationship with the now service manager Charlie Apple I feel that he has always handled me with sincerity. Unlike with previous experiences, here they do not try to use scare tactics and try to make you feel that you have all these problems from wear so that they can make extra money off you. Gettel never has never done that. The same is true with Rob Kinnie. He will not write a ticket with services you don't need. It trickles down from the top. I obtained an extended warranty at Gettel and I like to follow a maintenance schedule so that I don't have dealers pulling the scare tactic ploy on me and I even was able to but I also like to ask questions to understand the maintenance schedule that is provided. I like to know what to expect as far as anticipating maintenance needs based on wear patterns and get cost estimates on the various services in our changing economy. Charlie, Rob and Derek, as well, have all been sincere, on the level, patient, appreciative and supportive in my efforts to keep my car well maintained and to feel satisfied, comfortable and confident about the maintenance process. At the same time, they are comfortable giving me time estimates for the service. Today, I had what I thought was a concern about some noises. I had an appointment scheduled a ways back but the noises were growing more disconcerting. I like to come in mornings and Rob and Derek and Charlie have told me that they want to take care of me and have me feel comfortable about getting out when I need to. Today Rob quickly grabbed a tech for me to go take a drive with to give it a listen. Rob, the tech, was a very good listener and patient. He also, did not wish to use scare tactics or make me feel excitable. He patiently listened to my two concerns and educated me. He was the perfect choice. It also turns out that Rob got me Rob to listen to it feeling that I would be happy that it was the foreman of the service techs to listen. I believe that should say it and that's good because that's all the time I have! This is the standard that I hold them to and I'm just your nice average 35 year old guy who feels comfortable in the process of doing it. Keep up the good work guys! More
