With my hysterically funny description of the noise he thought he knew exactly what it was. After a quick drive of about 50 feet he confirmed what was wrong. They had the part we needed and replaced it quickly and we were on our way. Very friendly, knowledgeable, all served timely and with a smile. Great hours for service too! More

It was explained to me that their policy would not allow credit card payments over the phone? Hello, it is 2021 and 95% of my payments are by credit card on line or over the phone. But not here! A pain i credit card payments over the phone? Hello, it is 2021 and 95% of my payments are by credit card on line or over the phone. But not here! A pain in the xxx for someone living out of state trying to help a family member. That should have been my first red flag. Estimate to fix the car changed 3 times - 2nd red flag. Finally, was told the $160 charge to look at car and provide quote would be applied to bill if we choose to complete the work, it was NOT applied. Instead it was explained to me like this in an email and I quote, “ The 160.00 gets tied into and goes towards the overall total. It's considered 'labor' That hour the technician took to diagnose the problems with the car goes towards the overall service contract.” So basically, the $160 is not deducted but added to. Very misleading! Overall the actual repair to the vehicle was good. But the customer service, communication, and cost get a big thumbs down! Over priced work, misleading customer communication and shady calculations gets a 2 star rating. More
If I could put zero stars I would. Gettel is full of lying, cheating, no-good salesman. From top to bottom, they do not provide customer loyalty, and they conveniently find issues just after a warranty lying, cheating, no-good salesman. From top to bottom, they do not provide customer loyalty, and they conveniently find issues just after a warranty expires. We have been Nissan owners for 12 years, and we WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER NISSAN AGAIN, and will do everything I can to ensure the general public are not dupped by the Disgusting Liers who work for Gettel Nissan. I purchased the car I recently bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue for over 20 grand from Gettle Nissan of Sarasota. I had a very good buying experience.... I purchased the car quickly being a car wreck replacement. I went on a two week vacation soon after purchasing the vehicle and didn't take car of the two problems with the vehicle till directly after the 30 days were up. The two problems were: 1. A clicking noise with a bearing that I was expected to pay the $50 deductable on. I had purchased a warranty that would cover this completely, but for the first 90 days they said I was expected to pay this under a different 90 day warranty. 2. I found two nails in one of the tires. I worked roofing for 10 years and have changed literally 100's of nails in tires. After removing and patching both nails I was still unable to get the tire to stop leaking. This leaking was noticed about two weeks into the purchase right after getting back from vacation. I didn't think anything of it and fixed it myself only to have it happen again and have me patch another nail to have it happen again. I live in the city and have never gotten a nail in any of my tires since living here. I finally got the free time to bring the vehicle in for servicing of these issues. My wife and child had to bring me to the dealership, so I was there with my family. After speaking with a couple individuals me and my wife stumbled upon Ryan Hood who we worked with during the purcahse and appreciated his company. This man was a excellent Sales Manager that treated us with respect. He ended up getting Gettle to cover the $50 deductible and cover half of the new tire. I was very pleased with this level of service coming from a dealership. I give a 4 star only because of some frustrations during the process. The end result was great! More
Service Dept is a Nightmare - Stay Away When I look out my back window at night every single line of the defroster reflects any lights behind me. This just appeared suddenly after having the When I look out my back window at night every single line of the defroster reflects any lights behind me. This just appeared suddenly after having the car almost 2 years. So when I look out I see bars of light on every single line from every single car or truck behind me. I see huge columns of lights. It's distracting and disorienting and if I'm on a highway can be blinding. Every time I have to drive at night I get a headache. I was told by the service department that it was a characteristic of the car (2017 Sentra) and so they would not replace the window. When I asked if that were true why did it just start after almost 2 years? Their service manager, Doug actually told me that it was impossible and that it had to have been there the entire time I had the car. In other words he insinuated I was lying. Which is absurd. Then he proceeded to accuse me of not knowing how to use my rear-view mirror. I have an entire year left on my lease and will have to drive a car around that is a hazard to drive at night. The dealership would not budge on this. They continue to insist that it's a characteristic of the car. I have never been treated with such disrespect and condescension. I have been fighting this for over 6 weeks ... More
Salesman told me to get the F*** out of here In November of 2017 I bought a brand new 2017 Nissan Titan. Salesmen tried to make me pay for accessories that were never installed, he told me that n In November of 2017 I bought a brand new 2017 Nissan Titan. Salesmen tried to make me pay for accessories that were never installed, he told me that no matter what I must pay for it $1700 because it’s already on the truck!!! I told them whatever ok . And then they never installed them! Few months later when raining season came I noticed a wet carpet on the driver side under the mat So I was curious how the water got inside the truck, I vacuumed and fan dry it, next morning I noticed the water again! I took the truck to the Service Department . After few days they told me that they couldn’t find where the water gets inside! Ok !!! I got the truck back and kept driving! Consistently water kept coming inside the truck. Truck started smelling like a flooded truck.(stinks)it started to grow mold under the carpet, and I had to breath in that mold, I started to have headache , shortening of breath, which lead me to have a respiratory problem. So; to make this story short, I drove this truck for about one year, and in that period of time I end up taking my truck for this same problem 5 times, and they have not resolved the issues!!!so I was driving the truck for all that time breathing the mold I did ask them why ?!, they told me if the problem comes again just bring it back, we’ll try to fix it again. So I contacted Nissan Corporate and they told me that it’s a lemon truck, and they will buy it back! I told Nissan that I need a truck for work! I asked if they can put me in a new truck, and I’m willing to buy it for the price of a new truck only if they will put my down payment towards it, which is a $7900 They said no !!!!! Same with a Gettel Nissan, they just laugh at me!!! The sales manager Chris Crews did not even want to come out to talk to me!!!such a disrespect!! I felt so down, I thought off course I’m a foreigner , who am I ?! I’m nobody too them !!! I was very calm at that time ! So my salesman John comes up and told me that they have come up with some stupid deal only for me!! I was excited, but when he showed me that deal I was shocked, it was more money than they had it listed on there website, and I showed it to John, he had nothing to say, so I stood up and told John that it was so disrespectful that Chris did not come out to speak with me!!!!!!!!!!. I shook Johns hand and walked away !!! Also there is much more to all that, ! I will share it later!!!! It is so frustrating!!! Dealing with a Dealer !!!! Especially when they ignore you, and they seem to be happy that i have a problem! And like one of them said, I don’t care what you do or where you go, go ahead and do what ever you want!!!!!!!!!!! I did raise my voice that last day speaking with them about all that, and I told them I want my money back, so one of them even told me to get the F***out of here !!!!!!! And now I’m speechless!!!! So disrespectful to a costumer!!!! I did apologize for raising my voice, and he did apologize after all . But still, it’s unbelievable how they treat a customer!!!!!! I’m regretting that I went to Gettel Nissan!!!! I hope they won’t treat you that way!!!!!!!!! More
Scandalous! Long story short is that you should avoid this dealership like the plague. They are rip off artists! I have 2 separate incidents that I want the pub Long story short is that you should avoid this dealership like the plague. They are rip off artists! I have 2 separate incidents that I want the public to know about. First of all, I have had very good experiences with Yark Nissan in Toledo Ohio. I made the mistake of thinking all areas are trustworthy. The first thing that happened was that my front seat was broken. My car was a 2014 Altima and it had 75K miles. These jerks told me according to their bluebook, that my car was worth $2700. I said what? They said yes and then referred me to a salesman. I said how much to get my seat repaired. They gave me an estimate for $4k. I was in shock that they would insult my intelligence like this. I listened to their salesman and then told him I would let him know which I didn't have any intention of buying a new car. I went to Mike's Auto Trim on washington. Fantastic customer service and very fair. I showed him the seat and he told me they would take it apart and weld the seat and rebuild the foam in the seat for $350. After he was done, my seat was absolutely fine and has remained so since that which is about a year ago. The other incident that happened was that our 2016 Sentra lease was expiring so we had to turn in the car. They did an inspection using a 3rd party inspector who came to the house. He found a crack in the windshield which would be pricy if the dealer did it. Besides that crack, there was nothing else. The next day, I replaced the windshield completely and then turned the car in along with the receipt from the company that did the glass work to Gettyl Nissan. After a month, they sent us an email notifying us that we owed them $800. There was a repossession fee, a returned lease fee and something else which encompassed about $450. So make sure if you are buying that you get it in writing that these BS fees will be waived! You can't get out of them. The other $350 was billed because of the cracked windshield. Yes, the same one that I replaced just hours before turning it in. So we had to go scouring for the old receipt again and into our car insurance and prove yet again that we fixed the windshield. Their mistake and they would have absolutely charged us for it had we not had the receipt. There is a reason Nissan's sales went down 99% this last quarter and this type of customer service is why. Avoid them completely. The funny thing is that if you sign another lease or buy a car, they will waive all those fees. Sad really. More
