I will never step foot in this dealership again. My experience started off with an appointment for an oil change and new tires on 10/29 at 8:30am. Around 10:45am that morning, the service sept called and asked if I had wanted all 4 tires, that was the order, so I wasn’t sure where the confusion was. I called at noon and had to leave a msg. My phone call wasn’t returned so I called again at 1:30pm, and was told it would be done by 2. Upon arrival at 2, I was told there something not working that they needed to do the tires, so only the oil change was done. I was told that the tires and also a diagnostics for dash lights being on that I just paid $1,500 for in July to be fixed would be done if I wanted to bring the car up first thing the following Saturday. My car was brought up the night before and checked in. After going through most of the day without hearing anything, I made multiple calls to the dealership before finally getting a hold of someone. I had gotten a hold of someone shortly after 1:15 pm. My car hadn’t even been touched. After voicing my displeasure, the dealership said that it would be done by 2pm. Upon arriving at 2pm, the dealership had put the wrong tire on. Granted, they were a step up of tire from what I had ordered, they had never bothered to call and say they didn’t have the tire, which I suspect was the real issue the week before. The diagnostics were not done and I was told at that point, they do not do diagnostic checks over the weekends. So I was lied to again. I was told to bring the car up whenever I can to have this completed. It just so happened I had the upcoming Friday off. They told me to let them know when I could get it to them and they would take care of it right away. I arrived around 11am and told them I would need the car done by 1pm to get back to Cape Coral to get the car seats back in it in order to pick my kids up from school and not be rushed. I arrived back to the dealership at 1:30ish, and the vehicle still hadn’t been moved. The diagnostics were complete around 2:30. The actual service tech was the only bright side of the whole experience as he explained the diagnostics in great detail even though I was in a rush to get out of there. To top it off though, the vehicle was absolutely filthy due to sitting in a dirt employee lot all day. That in itself is unacceptable as well, but goes to show how poor of a service dept Gettel Dodge is. I have had several good experiences at Gettel in the past, but after being jerked around and blatantly lied to 3 consecutive weeks, I will never step foot back there despite having a free oil change from the week 1 screw job. Donald I believe was the name of the service associate it was that was handling this whole ordeal, but I would hope Gettel Dodge gets this kid the help he needs or parts ways with him before he costs them further business as he has already cost them mine.
