Poor customer service Came to the dealership on a Saturday morning at 8:30 AM to get my truck detailed and running boards installed. 3.5 hours later still waiting. They said they could not locate the running boards for the first two hours. You would think they would have detailed the truck while searching for the part but they did nothing. Now I am waiting for the detail to be completed. I bought the truck new last week and they only had one key so I was supposed to get my second key today. LOL they said they lost the key as well. Never again will I buy a truck from this dealer. More
Sheer and total incompetence ! This is a two fold complaint about this dealer. First off, I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership during which time the salesman kept pushi ! This is a two fold complaint about this dealer. First off, I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership during which time the salesman kept pushing and pushing for me to lease a new dodge rather than purchase the vehicle I really wanted. Second, I added an extended warranty at the time of purchase therefore when I had an issue with a vibration/bouncing of my custom wheels, I decided to take it to the dealer's service department considering I had the warranty through them. I dropped off the vehicle on a Thursday and received a rental vehicle from the dealership. I received a call a couple days later with a request that I bring in the original wheels so that they can exclude (or not) the wheels as the issue. I brought in the wheels and two more days later, I get a call from Lisa, from their service department stating that two of the original tires are defective and that I should bring in two new tires, so I purchased two new tires when they could have easily used the spare as the fourth wheel just to perform the test, however they insisted on two new tires. I dropped off the new tires and I even asked Lisa if they inspected the custom tires for any issues which she stated they did and it did not appear that there was any issues with them. I then received a call one full week later indicating that the truck is running smoothly with the original wheels I dropped off. I intern take the custom wheels to a mom and pop tire shop and at first glance at the very first wheel they inspected, there was a very noticeable bubble in that particular tire which is what it turns out was causing the bouncing of the vehicle. I ended up spending a couple hundred dollars on two new tires and another nearly three hundred dollars for the one week rental and service fee for a total of about five hundred dollars down the drain because of their incompetence. I called the dealership to express my concern and received a call back from Ray the service manager who rather than admit fault, decide to try and make me believe that truck simply wasn't compatible with the new wheels which is ridiculous because when I originally installed the new wheels months ago and up until recently the truck was running smoothly with the wheels in question. I was considering this outfit when I needed to trade in the vehicle down the road but they have lost my respect and business. I do not recommend this dealership to any one. Thank you Gettel for wasting my money and very valuable time going back and forth resulting in a fruitless outcome. Horrible service! More
Never again unless I'm desperate My daughter was home for spring break so we had a week window to get it fixed. We took the truck in on Tuesday (our scheduled appointment) and told them we had to have it back by Saturday. Air conditioning didn't work and we also asked to have them re-look at the recall of the radio that was causing problems that was supposedly fixed in December 2018. Of course, once they get in there other problems arise, which I can understand. BUT they had the car for four days with no luck fixing the radio. They knew we needed the truck to get back to school. You would think they would order another radio... but no.... they ran down the battery trying to fix it and now my daughter has NO radio and a blank screen. THIS WAS A RECALL. No hands free, no back up camera.... and she drives 9 hours to school. Response from dealer, sorry we couldn't fix it for you in time. so we have to leave with the problem not fixed. We get the truck home and get it washed. then go to start it up and the battery is dead. ok no problem, we charge it, check the battery and all shows it is good. but then the next morning when she leaves for school - the BATTERY IS DEAD again. So what did service do to cause this additional problem?! Worrying about a child so far away from home for college is hard enough, but now the additional worry of the truck not starting!! I am so beyond upset. It doesn't do any good calling, I get the same answer. We couldn't find the problem. It is worse than it was when we took it in. SO frustrated. Unless I can't get in at any other Ram dealer for service/recall, I will not choose this one again. Greg tried to be nice but couldn't deliver and didn't provide any type of solution for our problem. More

Scratched my car and NO APOLOGY!! This dealership has lousy management. I took my new car in for three items: a recall; warranty replacement of defective trim and scheduled service. They only did one of the recalls and forgot to do the service. So I left it another day. When I picked it up the second recall was still not done, they did the scheduled service. When I reached for the car door handle there was a big white scratch on my red handle. So back again to the service desk. The service agent said it was no big and said they could buff it out. So they took it back to the shop and said it would take ten minutes. A half our later they returned and said they needed to repaint the handle and that they would call me in a couple days to schedule. NO APOLOGY. Just blah mediocre “service”. There really is no service at Gettel. Just mediocre dull attitude. Management is responsible for everything. Obviously Gettel has lousy management to allow this level of mundane unintelligent mediocrity. More
Service Advisor Jacob and Service Department suck!!! Bought a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Limited with ACTIVE DRIVE II so it could be towed behind motorhome. Noone during selling process told me I needed a $200 w Bought a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Limited with ACTIVE DRIVE II so it could be towed behind motorhome. Noone during selling process told me I needed a $200 wiring harness installed for another $275 to keep Jeep from "wobbling" back and forth while it was being towed. Overall, buying experience was good. Went to Gettel for 1st. LOF and tire rotation and after it was "allegedly" finished (tires were never rotated as I marked them before going for service) I threw Jacob, my 20-something sarcastic, trickster service writer under the bus to management for never coming to me after service was complete and then hiding my Jeep from plain view. Service Manager, who could care less about my complaints about Jacob, had Jeep brought back into shop and tires were then rotated. I WILL NEVER GO TO GETTEL JEEP IN PUNTA GORDA FOR ANYTHING! Have since gone to Douglas Jeep in Venice, FL to have the aforementioned wiring installed and based on this one experience with Douglas Jeep, they have got ALL my business in the future! Lastly, while at Douglas Jeep, I ran into several people who had BOUGHT their vehicles at Gettel but now go to Venice Jeep for any service requirements because of their disappointing experience(s) at GETTEL! Dodge Mfg. Issues with Dealership Issues I purchased my 2016 Dodge Journey SXT, on March 23, 2016 from a super nice salesman Tom Doyle. Then I went into the finance Mgr. to complete transact I purchased my 2016 Dodge Journey SXT, on March 23, 2016 from a super nice salesman Tom Doyle. Then I went into the finance Mgr. to complete transaction of the sale. When I asked finance mgr. (KIA trade-In), if we were ALL SQUARE, and I owe NOTHING to KIA?, he said oh sure.... you are all set. Well.... on July 6, 2016 I receive a notice from KIA that I owed $428.01 for "Disposition Fees", Naturally when I call Palm about the fees, they advise that they cannot help me. So I paid the $428.01. Then the real fun begins with the overall quality of my vehicle, & the feelings of the Service Mgr., never really believing me. 09-19-16 Gas light comes on and strong gas odors. Replaced Evaporative Canister Invoice # 43756 10-24-16 Again strong gas smell & Radio is cutting off/on, when applying the brakes. Small Evap Leak Stored Code. Told me they really found nothing wrong and or/no codes, etc. Invoice # 45224 10-31-16 Driver's Side Scuff Plate, just comes loose, and AGAIN STRONG GAS SMELLS. They claim no gas smell and replace scuff plate. Invoice # 45537 12-02-16 Yet AGAIN I take vehicle back for STRONG GAS SMELLS. Again they claim no gas smell, no codes. 01-19-17 Again STRONG GAS SMELLS, & Confirmed Gas Cap Light was on. 52030377-Ab CAP-FUEL FILLER replaced. Invoice # CHCS1978 05-03-16 I go in for a Tire Rotation, they show abnormal wear on right front tire, & they recommend an alignment, & inform me I will need to pay for an Alignment Evaluation. I say fine. I wait over one hour & they inform me they had rotated the tires, then he asks if I ever hit anything and/or anyone else ever drives my car?, (I'm the only driver, I've NEVER hit anything, I don't hit curbs as he suggested). He stated my ENGINE FRAME was out of ALIGNMENT. So he says we will do the alignment. Then I get a bill for $ 99.95! Wow! Invoice # CHCS30120. Aside from a few previous comments/jokes by the service mgr., like...."Are you sure you don't live next to a gas station?, that is probably why you smell gas?!", and you must TOP-OFF your car at the gas station, most people don't know how to fill-up their cars. As to the rather rude comments.... NO I don't live next to a gas station & secondly..... I'm a woman and not an idiot, I DO NOT TOP OFF my car at the gas station. I don't like my 2016 Dodge Journey SXT, and I feel very UNSAFE in it. I know this has happened over a years time, but today with the Engine Frame Alignment.... I've just come to the point of no return. More

I didn't realize that I needed an appt, but John (Asst Manager) said he could squeeze me in if I waited awhile. Cool, I'll wait, no problem. Zachary (Technician) found a leak in my engine oil filter (covered by warranty) but the day was almost over so I would have to leave the car overnight. John offered me a ride home. I explained that I came from three towns away because my local dealer (Galeana Jeep) sucks. John kicked it up a notch and got 'er done the same day. I wish I could give Palm Jeep service dept 6 stars. there's nothing they could have done to make the experience better. More
Profit before Customer Service I have been a dedicated customer for over 7 years. Had 3 vehicles serviced there and purchased 2 new vehicles. I felt I could trust them and customer service was good. Well that's all gone, found out they were going to rip me off with a navigation update, thankfully I call other dealers for the real price, which makes me question the deal on the car. Yesterday I had an issue with a tire, the customer service advisor and the sales manager could have cared less. Obviously the dollar has replaced customer service. Again they wanted to rip me off by overcharging a repair I never should have paid for at all. Thankfully, Firestone did have caring personnel and the problem was resolved for half of what Palm wanted. They spent the time looking for options instead of shrugging their shoulders. Palm and I are done. I will not spend another penny there, buy another vehicle there or recommend them to people who ask where I got my Jeep. Don't buy anything there until you are positive they are not ripping you off. More
