Took my SUV in for service on April 26 for a stability track. And a recall for something for the fuel. After the service the smell of fuel in my car was unbearable. We put the car in our garage and the garage smell off and the smell went all thru my house. The smell was so bad we took the car out and left it in driveway overnight. Because of the awful fuel smell in my home I got violently Ill and vomited. In the morning went back to they check the car again and there was what told me was a kink in the fuel line that they fixed the next day April 27. Very upset that u released a car with that smell. They accurately diagnosed the problem I was having with my Equinox while it was being flat towed behind an RV. The diagnostic evaluation showed there was no problem with the vehicle but provided suggestio my Equinox while it was being flat towed behind an RV. The diagnostic evaluation showed there was no problem with the vehicle but provided suggestions as to inquire w/the aftermarket technicians who set up the towing system & how the vehicle operates differently when hooked to the RV. The mechanic @ the dealership even provided a quick video as to what he checked & additional info to provide the aftermarket techs. I was very thankful for the excellent service that Gettel provided - especially since I was an out of state customer on vacation. More
