My car is in the shop for the third time before it’s first oil change. I am no closer to hearing a solution for the problem then when it was first towed in. The work itself was not bad. It was supposed to be a simple service just an oil change, tire rotation part of my 2yr 24k mile complimentary service from Acura. I had called and p It was supposed to be a simple service just an oil change, tire rotation part of my 2yr 24k mile complimentary service from Acura. I had called and planned accordingly with service planner to ensure I was at the requirements for my Service. I had to push my service two weeks just to meet the oil life percentage requirements. That was not an issue, the issue was when I arrived. My service advisor, trying to treat me like a fool and charge me for the service. He pulled me into his office and stated the price, I then let him know that this was part of the complimentary Acura plan so it’s free. He tried to play it off saying he put my info in and stated it was active. Then he tried saying my service is out of the time frame. So once again I made him aware this is a 2 year 24,000 mile complimentary package from Acura. I had signed the car over 7 months ago so it’s not too old. And I have 15,000 miles so it’s not the miles. I said if this is going to be an issue I can leave and go elsewhere. Magically after clicking a few buttons it worked and I received my oil change that Acura promises. But someone should do an audit and retraining on Jorge Mere’s service recommendations and how he treats customers. I am new to Acura and love the car, we were planning to get another Acura next year but sour tastes like this ruin a brand. Ruin a customer experience. Ruin the fact he is a service advisor and should advise service to the customer. It is not right to attempt to take advantage of people, it’s greedy and holds no value of integrity. I am mainly writing this in reference to future customer problems that may occur due to this negligence. But on the one minor positive everyone else that dealership was very nice and friendly. More
