THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER!!! I bought my 2003 Tahoe from Gerry Lane and have brought it for the free oil changes (not worth it!) ever since. I started having electrical issues in I bought my 2003 Tahoe from Gerry Lane and have brought it for the free oil changes (not worth it!) ever since. I started having electrical issues in October of this year so I brought it in. I thought they would be able to fix it being message boards all over the internet highlight the very issue I was having. Every single time they called to tell me it was ready, I would go pick it up and drive it no more than a mile and the electrical problem would show up again. This happened about five times. During one of these service visits, the tech. managed to pop a brand new tire that I had to have replaced at my own expense because they had to wait two days to to go through accounting. Another visit, they lost my key! My fricken' KEY! And yet another time, I watched them back a car out of a bay right into a parked Corvette! What absolute imbeciles. Finally, after a two week stay at the service department, they managed to get it fixed. I picked it up on a Friday. By Monday, my 3 month old battery was dead. I replaced it myself. I drove it up to GL to get them to check the alternator, etc. only to have them tell me they didn't have time. Well, 3 days later, the new battery was dead. I took it back for them to check it and left it overnight. I just got a call from them saying that everything is good but all of the bolts were loose. xxx?! I'm going to pick it up. We'll see how it is in 3 days... Word to the wise, avoid Gerry Lane like the plague. Especially Mark, the service "manager". He is the rudest most condescending person I've ever dealt with. More
Bad customers service I took my impala in to get it repair I knew what I needed to be fix the servicer told me he had to do a diagnosis test on my car anyways so I ask why I took my impala in to get it repair I knew what I needed to be fix the servicer told me he had to do a diagnosis test on my car anyways so I ask why was that cause I've already been told what's wrong with it I just had to get that particular work done at Chevrolet dealer, so I get a phone call from the service dept saying we did the diagnosis and it could be your battery cables which would cost me $887 or it could be the BCM which would cost me $475 what I walk in telling them that's what I wanted them to fix so a diagnosis was done on my car that shouldn't have been done then you going to tell me if you fix one of those you don't know if it's going to fix the problem, so why in the world should I had to pay for a diagnosis, I will never go there for service nor by cars again they just trying to make money, cuz if I say what to be fix that should have been done and if that didn't fix it let me take the next step More

Worst service ever I went to the dealership twice to Worst service ever I went to the dealership twice to get an oil change on my 04 Trailblazer the first time I came to the dealership I was told th Worst service ever I went to the dealership twice to get an oil change on my 04 Trailblazer the first time I came to the dealership I was told that it would be about 5 hours before I could even get my car touched, I asked if I could make an appointment for Monday to bring it in and was told that the dealership does not schedule appointments for oil changes and I would just have to walk in.... On Friday I walked in and asked about the 29.95 oil change on The dealers website and was told that it was a mail in rebate to get that price point, After sitting in the waiting area for 4 hours with NO WIFI (yes in 2013 a dealership does not offer WIFI) I paid almost $50 dollars for my oil change and when I came back to submit my rebate I found out that it was not in fact a rebate offered by GM but something offered by the dealership as a special what a waste of time and money. Be careful I would not refer anybody to go here for an oil change or any service outside of the 36/36.. if I knew it was this bad I would have went to a quick lube for service but I like to let a GM dealership work on my car... I am glad I do not stay in Baton Rouge cause I would not want this to be the preferred dealer for me to visit More

I went in for my first oil change at 7000 miles was told the oil was not thick enough yet for free oil change and would have to pay for it. Went in to talk to sales manager because he told me three months a the oil was not thick enough yet for free oil change and would have to pay for it. Went in to talk to sales manager because he told me three months ago to come see him if i had a problem, he wouldnt talk to me and directed me to someone else. When I became irate by this I was thrown out of the dealership and told they didnt care if i every bought another vehicle from them (this was my third). This will be the last time I buy anything from any Gerry Lane Ent. dealership More
