Misquoted prices, bad alignment, battery problems unchecked After taking my car in to be serviced for routine maintenance I am left completely unsatisfied and paying more than I had been quoted. Lee Glesmer, the advisor in the service department had called me Monday morning at 840am after dropping my car off and informed me the department had recommended some things to get done. After hearing some of the pricing on things, I opted to only get a few of them taken care of as the others I know I can get done much cheaper elsewhere. Brake pads were one of the things i had them check, which Lee said needed to be changed which they could do for the cost of 129.99. I gave the go ahead on that since it is comparable to other places. He also said the alignment needed to be done, which I figured and had asked them to check. He quoted me a price of 119.99 I believe, and when I questioned why it was that much since they are advertising it for 94.99 on their website he changed it for me. I also had the oil changed and cabin filter changed. Upon picking my car up, I was given a bill of almost $600 which didn't add up at all so I started to review the bill. First, they tried to charge me 119.99 for the alignment again, and then to my surprise when I got to the break pad replacement there was a charge of $280! When I asked what that was about, Lee said it included resurfacing of the rotors and pads. When I said he never mentioned having the rotors resurfaced nor did I approve it he said that of course I did approve it. When I pressed further on the issue, saying I never would have approved that price because I can get it done much cheaper elsewhere, or even do them myself, and neither did he mention anything about rotors needing to be resurfaced, he said that the rotors are always resurfaced when break pads are replaced. Must be a Honda thing, because I have gotten breaks replaced multiple times and never once did they automatically resurface the rotors with it. It's always an additional price option. Regardless, the price he quoted me was wrong anyway. Lee did take off the resurfacing price (turns out its not automatically grouped into the break pad replacement price...imagine that), and charged me 180 for the pad replacement - still 50.00 above what I was originally quoted. After reluctantly paying this amount, my car was pulled around to me by a service tech whose name I did not catch and he informed me that my battery died! He did a quick battery check and said it looked ok for the time being but it may happen again. Well thanks. Seems like something that should have been checked on in my routine maintenance request. Needing my car back, I declined to have it checked further and I will take it to another place if necessary. Upon driving my car away, I noticed when I let go of the wheel that the car drifts directly to the right pretty quickly. So I paid for an alignment on top of that that didnt even do anything. I will never go back to this place. I was looking into buying a new honda as well, an SI that I had requested information on a little bit ago. I can tell you that it won't be from this place though! On this occasion we are satisfied with the attitude of these two workers of the dealer, in contrast to the previous one where Mrs. Krista, head of the service department treated us in very bad manner and we had to solve the mechanical problem that my car had in another workshop .. We just wanted to thank Luis Ricardo and Jean for the treatment received, they saved the day, if it wasn’t for them, this review would have just One Star... More

Bad experience. I had a scheduled appointment. First, when I pulled up, no one greeted me. I sat in the car for at least 7 minutes, when the courtesy van driver retu I had a scheduled appointment. I sat in the car for at least 7 minutes, when the courtesy van driver returned from his run, after a few minutes he noticed that I was still sitting there and asked if I was being helped. He finally asked around and got me assistance. I was told service would take 1 hour and 15mins. After an hour and thirty minutes, I came outside to see that my car was still in lot. No one ever came to say that there was a delay. I requested that my car be brought to me and I left. This was simply not acceptable. More

Not even close to the anticipated Excellent Service I called Germain Honda the day before to schedule the mounting of 4 new PAX tires for my 2007 Honda Odyssey. I was told that the work had to be done b I called Germain Honda the day before to schedule the mounting of 4 new PAX tires for my 2007 Honda Odyssey. I was told that the work had to be done by a certified technician and to allow two hours for the installation (20-25 Minutes per tire). The appointment was for 11:00 AM I was there a few minutes early, and I was told that the it would be a little over two hours, so I decided to wait. After waiting two hours and 20 minutes I asked on the status and was told that they were working on the last tire. I returned 35 minutes later and was told that the car was just being finished up and if I waited 10 more minutes they would give a complimentary wash. An additional 40 minutes went by, I requested to have my car brought back washed or not. Bottom line ...over 3 1/2 hours later with the failure of the staff to communicate and not being truthful, has caused Germain Honda to lose a client. Unfortunately, Germain Lexus in North Naples lost me as a client for the similar experience. I would not recommend Germain to anyone. More

He is extremely attentive, always courteous, and takes the time to explain thoroughly the work that needs to be completed along with the cost.
