One more thing I forgot to add: The finance manager only cared about selling extra insurance. When I declined to purchase the extra insurance, he was frustrated and was offering me to purchase the car with a higher APR. When I complained about it, he did not want to proceed with the dealing. He called in the sales manager, who later convinced him to lower the rate. He did lower it by 1%, but I did not realize that the finance manager was setting my first installment date before the 45 day period which is normally given during purchase of a new car. Overall, he also cared about me paying something extra.
