Car purchased on 01/27-nothing had been done to the car yet when looking to buy it. Hence why I was negotiating the dings, scuffs and interior which they kept stating would be all fixed. I had scheduled an appt to come in with Bob Smiley, so I'm not sure why even just the trash in the inside of the car from the previous owner wasn't cleaned out? Because of this we had to wait around for the car to be cleaned-we could have always picked it up the next day but they just kept saying the car would be ready soon. It was dark when they were done with the car so I did not see it in daylight until the next morning. We had a friend take care of the scuffs on the bumper that weren't taken care of. When we were getting in the car I asked for the key and he said we had it. I asked for the other key and was told they were trying to get the 2nd key from the previous owner. Again, had they told me I'd have to come back for a key, I could have come back and picked up the car at the same time. I received the certified pre-owned Checklist that was dated on the 29th-2 days after my car purchased which apparently I was supposed to review and sign? Line through Technician signature NO signature from me-says signature on file. First time I saw this was when it was emailed on Jan 31st. Emailed Jan 31st-Questioned the date on the certification checklist and Abdou Ali stated it just reflects the date he was trying to do the registration process for my car. Stated they were working on getting the second key from the previous owner and to give them a week. Stated-IF WE COULDN'T GET IT, WE'LL MAKE YOU ONE. Also stated selling date is what matters, not the date on the certification. I followed up on Feb 13th-I had heard nothing-Asked when I could come pick up the key Abdou Ali stated they were still trying to get the second key. Stated BY MONDAY WE DON'T HAVE IT, WE'LL CUT YOU A NEW ONE. Feb 20th-call from Bob Smiley- reached out to check on the car and didn't seem to know what I was talking about with the key. Stated he would try to get it from the previous owner. Was rude and stated it comes with 1 key. Also stated the car was NOT pre-owned certified and asked if I could send him the certification checklist or paperwork-which was sent from Nissan. And I believe has his signature-no printed name so don't know! Never had any follow up after that -Feb 28th-I followed up again after hearing nothing-email to Abdou Ali Stated my confusion with the call I had with Bob when he called. Shared my concern with Abdou Ali and asked to verify certification as I was very confused and frustrated. Also asked when I could pick up the key. If unable to do anything asked who I could escalate to-NO RESPONSE Re-emailed March 13th again asking who I could escalate this to-NO RESPONSE Bought the car 6 weeks ago-this is ridiculous. 0 respect for my time and 0 customer service. Not sure if they thought I would just go away, but I question the ethics with the certification-I doubt the car was even checked over at this point. And the fact they aren't doing what they said they would even though I have it in writing. I will be escalating and reporting to any place that I can. More
I bought my car from Mr Escareno months ago and I love it. Came in for service and I was taken care of by Lynn checked me in without and appointed and even accepted a coupon I had. Basic service is always good when you get in and out quickly and so I was happy to be finished in time to get some McDonald's as I left. I didn't realize that I was taken care of by the service manager Lynn, she is so customer friendly, not like some places you go and you have to be friends of the owner to get service. I came in for an oil change and used a coupon listed on their website. The service advisor Paul then try’s charging me the original price when checking out. I show him the code, which he seemed to be annoy their website. The service advisor Paul then try’s charging me the original price when checking out. Paul seemed irritated I questioned this again so I just agreed and let it go. I know it’s only $5, but I expect a more professional service. There is no excuse for seeming annoyed when I ask about an advertised special. More
