When i was buying my 2014 Quest their warranty was a selling poi Their lifetime warranty is a LIE !!!!. They will do everything not to accept a claim. When i was buying my 2014 Quest their warranty was a selling point at that dealership for me. What a mistake i made switching from my previous Nissan dealership. They said warranty covers all the powertrain for as long i owe a vehicle.No questions asked. Let's start with a rust on a vehicle after 1.5 years. They repainted it since it was still under 3 years bumper to bumper. A month later...steering wheel started to peel off...they replaced it. Year later rust started to coming out in the same spots, i brought a car in. They said they'll arrange a repair and give me a call. 2 years later....still nothing. 2018 (4 years old car) transmission went bad. i brought car in and paid $89 for inspection. They said they have to report it to Lifetime Warranty. As they said it's outside company. NOT THEIR WARRANTY. Of course they didn't give me loaner car. They can rent me a car :) as i couldn't do it myself. 1st attempt: claim rejected. Reason: no transmission flush done by me. I brought them a receipt from the shop i've done it. Ok, we'll send it in and let you know. Guess what? Claim rejected. Reason: lack of maintenance. 6 missing oil changes. I brought them 5 receipts from different shops. last oil change i've done at my garage myself. "We'll let you know" Guess what? Claim rejected. Reason: lack of maintenance. You have to do all the maintenance according to the owners manual. Freaking in cabin filter, brake fluid etc...like it's got something to do with the broken transmission. Lesson learned. WORST DEALER EVER. I'm done talking to them. Now it's time for my lawyer. Please save your hard earned money and don't let them fool you with their "Gerald Exclusive Lifetime Warranty" since it is a Bull***t. Almost forgot...They will be more than happy to fix it for me if i'll pay them $5000. More

Everyone works as a team!! I took my versa in for a checkup. Started talking to Kevin about a car for my teenager. Ended up taking a test drive with Byron. Exceeded expectations My husband and I came in to get new tires for my Nissan Rogue. We browsed around and he worked out a phenomenal deal for us. He was not pushy not did he rush us so he could get the next deal going. He was patient with us and was there every step of the way. Unbelievable experience Byron Giles went above and beyond to help me and my family. We went to Gerald Nissan to get new tires put on my wife’s car with no intention what so ever of buying a new car. Byron greeted us when we arrived but we told him we were there for service so he showed us where to go and even pushed the empty stroller over there so I didn’t have to put it back in the car. While waiting for my wife’s car to be finished (we had a awhile) we walked around the showroom where Byron struck up a conversation with us. Not too long after that I was looking at a few cars and taking a test drive. Byron was very understanding about what I wanted and could afford. Not to mention working as fast as he could because we were there with a 5month old. After a little back and fourth he gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse. I can’t begin to explain how happy we are with how everything went down. And a shout out to the service department for taking care of us so well without an appointment. This was by far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. More
Service Tries to Sell Unnecessary Services I had an oil change and tire rotation. First time to this dealer. They tried to sell me services that I didn't need. I bought this truck used just 4 m I had an oil change and tire rotation. First time to this dealer. They tried to sell me services that I didn't need. I bought this truck used just 4 months ago. The dealer I bought it from (not Gerald) had done work on it and also repaired things within 24 hours of me buying. To be sure I had an independent mechanic look it over and he gave it a clean bill of health. I had the drive belt replaced and a few other maint items in Feb. It's May and Gerald Nissan is telling me that my brake fluid was dirty, the 4x4 fluids were dirty and that the belt I had just replaced was already wearing out because it wasn't genuine Nissan part. What a load of crap. I had my independent mechanic look at it today and the belt is still so new that the numbers on the belt are not even worn. Also the fluids that were "dirty" are all still good. Unbelievable. Two other establishments tell me how good things are and Gerald says otherwise...DO NOT GO TO GERALD. Also...they will shuttle home or to work, but they will NOT pick you back up. Naperville Toyota, Honda, Mercedes will do both. More
Never get service here, rip offs!!! My dad purchased a Nissan NV200. They got it imported from another dealer. I thought the cars go through an inspection once they come to a new dealer, but after we bought it, we noticed that the drivers inside lower part of the door's painting is damaged. It is a brand new 2015 vehicle. How could they let this happen. Thankfully they fixed the problem by taking it to a body shop, they did not even offer a loaner though. Missed a day of work. Another issue came after owning the car for about a couple months. The ABS light came ON, and ofcourse i took it to the dealer, they refused to look at it because i did not have an appointment. Well, how can i expect that my ABS is gonna stop working on a brand new frikkin car. I demanded them to take a look at it the same day, and they said that the ABS sensor was cut by someone. Right! Someone is gonna go under that low car and just cut that sensor. Why wouldn't that someone just pop the tires instead? I think dumb service advisers work there, how could they just make up that story? Well, if i would believe that story, then i would have to blame my wife, the car was in the garage, she came out and just cut the ABS sensor, like she really needs to do that. The warranty ofcourse refused to cover the cost of the repair, i had to call the corporates and the service department. And after like a month of calls, the problem got resolved. They ordered the parts, installed it for free. They were trying to charge me 480 and then 80 and i got it down to zero. If you buy from these guys, the service department will try to rip you off, so stay on your word and demand the service for free when you know it wasn't your fault. Just be reasonable. im not telling you to demand free oil change. I wish i knew about this website earlier, this happened like a year ago. Hopefully this helps someone in the future. Just get a Honda instead, why do you need A NISSAN!!!??? and avoid Mark Jillich, he is the rip off dude, and he made up the story about my wife cutting my abs sensor, that dude needs to learn something, and he is rude on the phone. Would never go again I visited this dealer today R/O number 6268877/1 for routine maintanence on my 2012 Nissan Rogue. I actually moved from another city to Naperville-IL I visited this dealer today R/O number 6268877/1 for routine maintanence on my 2012 Nissan Rogue. I actually moved from another city to Naperville-IL recently and this was my first visit to this dealer. During my last service from another Nissan dealer I knew my rear brake pads will be due for replacement very soon, so I was mentally ready to have it changed once service team will highlight today. To my utter surprise the guy came up with several other issues but no mention of the brake pads. When he brought the inspection sheet for discussions I saw no mention of these. On my inquiry he said the guys have inspected but not reported on the sheet so I asked him to have this evaluated. After a little while he came up with the inspection report highlighting that the brakes are all perfect. I then specifically inquired and he said we inspected them and they are all fine. This naturally shattered my confidence on the credibility of this inspection and I decided not to get any thing else done with them. I have a feeling that they wanted to get more high ticket job with less labour like air filter, cabin filter, battery replacement, drive belt and loose heat shield ( these were the recommended items from the service team) but probably brake pads are more labour intensive and less money they totally ignored. I felt betrayed and now even suspect the report they came up with. Something one never expect from Nissan. Just to let you know I had Murrano and Versa in use too along with Rogue. I never experienced such a non pro attitude before. Nissan to kindly look into this as such practices are unethical as well as jeopardising safety of the driver. More
