The writer listened to my concerns and spoke to me so I could understand what I needed. The tech was great, he took me for a ride so I could verify the problem and another when he finished the control arm. I will continue to do business here. They truly care for customers. More
Change of heart! Hi Im ElJaie, and I purchased my KIA from Hawkinson Kia. At first I felt it was a horrible experience, especially the attitude of the owners nephew. Hi Im ElJaie, and I purchased my KIA from Hawkinson Kia. At first I felt it was a horrible experience, especially the attitude of the owners nephew. ..BUT then after continuing to go have my car serviced and being greeted and treated so warmly by the staff my feelings soften and I began to have a change of heart! Mr. Hawkison, Randy, ( who's back!! best thing EVER!) , and Tim Ward (service dept.) have always tried to do right by me, so Im grateful for that and now they have a LOT of new staff who are Fabulous. Id definitely refer others there to purchase a new/ used vehicle. I would have given 5 stars, but they ALWAYS, ALWAYS do a horrible job washing my car!!! El'Jaie More

I bought a Kia from this dealership back in Feb. 2011. The purchase was a very pleasent trasaction. No hassle no pressure. The problem I had, is when I came to take advantage of the lifetime oil change that was offered to me by the dealership for the new purchase, and my other Kia I own. I made a reservation of an oil change 08-17-2011 at 7.00 am, the 1st customer of the day. I didn't want to wait long to get my car serviced. That was why I wanted the early appointment. After giving my information to the service manager, I was told my old Kia, that was to be registered for lifetime oil changes, was not in his files. I told Damon the service manager to go ahead with the oil change and I would pay for the service and take it up with my sales person Jesse Lopez. At 8.10 I left the dealership with my oil changed and 36 dollars less in my pocket. 1 hour and 10 minutes for an oil change. If I had know that, I would have passed on the offer the dealership gave me. This is when my problems really started. I called Jesse and told him of my problem. He told me that I should have had my old Kia registered for the promotion, He would look into it. I made that call the same day the car was serviced. Call the following day to see if my problem was resolved. Jesse replied that my car was now registered. Now the only issue left was getting paid for the oil change. Called back Thursday and Friday but Jesse was off those days. Saturday called Damom the service manager he told me he had not heard anything from Jesse. Thats when I asked for Jesse boss Brian Zawparus, I told Brian of my problem and he told me that he would talk to Jesse and have him call me back. I asked that he call me back, for Jesse never returns my calls, he said he would. Waited untill Monday at 1.00 pm before once again I called back to see if my issue was taken care of. After getting in touch with Brian he asked what I wanted him to do. I said confirm my car was registered for the program and cut me a check for the oil change I paid for. Brian told me that they were open till 9.00 pm and I could pick the check up at the cashier desk. Went to the dealership after work and guess what happen next. No check at the cashiers desk. Asked the cashier to page Brian, she did and told me they were coming with the check. Jesse shows up and said the check was locked up, and the man with the key was gone for the day. That's when I got mad and loud. Loud enough that it got Brians attention. He asked what was the problem was, and I told him that he and Jesse never follows up on what they say they will do. I told him he couldn't even take care what he said he would do, no more then a few hours ago. His reply, he was busy Brian ask once again whay my problem was, seeing that I recived my money back, which was paid to me out of petty cash. I replied that the little problem that I had, took a week to be taken care of and if it wasn't for me following up it never would have been resolved. As I was leaving, I informed them that after buying two Kia's from this dealership I would never buy another. David Scukanec More
