I was put to ease right away. I felt like I received a fair deal which is what everyone wants. Plus, a co-worker told me that Gerald Jones was a good company. The first thing that impressed me is that they are a TrueCar dealership. So, all of their prices are up front and you don't have to worry about sales talks. I talked to Jim and also with Joe, and they seemed much more interested in getting me exactly what I want than pressuring a sales. Overall, I was impressed with the courteousness of Gerlald Jones and their professionalism in holding their clients' needs as top priority. I would buy a car from them again. More

I first contacted Mr. Jim Dupree of Gerald Jones Subaru more than six weeks before I actually met him in person (I am in the military), and Jim was a friend to me from the very beginning. He never pressured me to do anything. He followed through on everything I ever asked him to do, and he got the exact vehicle for me I wanted and at a great price. Moreover, I was very impressed with the friendliness, professionalism, and responsiveness of the Gerald Jones Subaru parts manager, finance manager, and service manager - all of whom were introduced to me by Jim while purchasing my 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. I am very much looking forward to the free vehicle services and car washes I will receive at Gerald Jones Subaru as a result of my purchase. It feels like family there. More
I highly recommend Gerald Jones Subaru. I live in Statesboro, GA and after shopping at some other dealerships, for a 2013 Outback, I settled with Jim Dupree at Gerald Jones. Why? Many of the other Statesboro, GA and after shopping at some other dealerships, for a 2013 Outback, I settled with Jim Dupree at Gerald Jones. Why? Many of the other dealerships were very hesitant to work up a purchase worksheet or give me any details regarding the vehicle. Jim, on the other hand, had no problem giving me any information I requested and delivered it in a very timely manner. We communicated via e-mail and phone, I always received a response within 30 minuted or less. Throughout the entire sale of this vehicle, I felt like Jim was more than helpful and wanted to see me driving this car. If there was any pricing figure I did not understand, I received a full explanation without any hesitation. Jim was extremely patient. He worked with me every step of the way, through financing to driving the car from the dealership near Augusta, GA to my doorstep in Statesboro, GA. Even after payment and delivery, Jim made sure to connect me with a local dealer to thoroughly clean and detail the vehicle. He said, "it should look perfect, as if I were driving it off the lot brand new." Overall, a great experience and would HIGHLY recommend Gerald Jones and Jim Dupree to anyone. More
When I first purchased my Subaru in August of 2010 I took it for its first oil change around November, the technician put too much oil. I had to bring it back so they could remove some oil, but my vehicle w it for its first oil change around November, the technician put too much oil. I had to bring it back so they could remove some oil, but my vehicle was left with a burning oil smell for 2 or 3 days. August 27,2011 I took it for the 15,000 maintenance and the technician didn't tighten the gasket for the oil. I thought I was taking my car to an experienced dealership with an experienced service department. At least that's what their website proclaims. I paid $264 for the service. You would think they would remember to tighten the gasket.... More
I bought a used 2010 Toyota Prius V last Saturday. The price was very fair for the Prius V. It had leather seats, heated seats etc. When I got home from the dealership, I could not find the controls for price was very fair for the Prius V. It had leather seats, heated seats etc. When I got home from the dealership, I could not find the controls for the heated seats. This raised a flag because if it didn't have heated seats, it is not the Prius V. I called my salesman at this point but Gerald Jones was closed for the day. I then called Toyota and had Vin number run to find this car is a Prius II. I was irate because there is about 6k difference in price between these 2 models. I called the salesman Sunday Morning and he told me not to worry, the GM would straighten it out Monday morning. I called the GM Monday and he told me I would have to come in to his office to discuss in person. I then took off work and called to let them know I would be there at 1:00. I arrived but the GM was at lunch. He returned at 1:30. But he proceeded to meet with another client. He then had several meetings with staff. I waited for 1 HR and 20 minutes before even speaking with him. His name is Phil Hughes and he is new to the dealership (3 weeks at Gerald Jones). He had me go into the Finance managers, Cory Usry's, office. He came in and asked me why I came in. He had already been briefed by the salesman, Vincent Martin. He proceeded to tell me I had not been misled or given any false information. I had traded a Toyota Avalon. I asked him to simply kill the transaction. He said absolutely not. He had already ordered 2 tires for the Avalon and had the oil changed. I said he could return the tires and the oil change was done in house so it didn't cost anything other than supplies. He was rude and said I signed on the dotted line and on that one form, it says 2010 Prius and not 2010 Prius V. Even though the ad on Gerald Jone's website, Cars.com, and even the window label that has the VIN and model and specs- all said Prius V. It also went on to say it had the heated seats etc(Specs found on an actual Prius V). He said all of that info is generated by the Internet when they enter the VIN. But Cory Usry went on to say that the Window Sheet I brought in was actually there form and they type it up. Great, so finally they had clarity. Nope, he still wouldn't kill the transaction. I told him I wanted to call Andy Jones ( Son of Gerald Jones and President). He said I could call anyone I wish. So I did, Mr Andy Jones listened to my complaint and resolved the issue without hesitation. He sent another manager to speak with me and I explained my problem and he said it's no problem to kill the transaction. He said the loan had not even been sent out and the tires for the Avalon can be returned. They brought my car around at this point but I am not completely satisfied. Gerald Jones dealership still charged me for an oil change, air filter, and they said they had done an inspection of my car too. The grand total of $231 for an oil change and air filter. I will let you decide, was this an accident or scam. Either way, I lost out. Took off work, got belitted by the GM Phil Hughes after eating 1 HR 20 min just to speak to him,wasted 4 hrs 15 min of time total, and got to pay $231 for an oil change. Great experience. Was that it, no sir. Got home in my Avalon only to find that the left hand roof moulding was missing. I contacted my salesman, Vince Martin, to ask if it was in the shop or possibly at the detailing shop. He said he would check. 5 days later and still haven't heard. Ordered new moulding today. I had purchased a Honda from Gerald Jones without issue in the past. Everyone was courteous and Mr Andy Jones was great, but the GM is a different story. One person can certainly ruin an experience. The rating above only reflects my experience with the GM Will not return to GJ suburu/Volvo. More

I knew that Scott really cared about getting me the perfect car for a fair price. I have since referred all my car shopping friends to Scott and not even a month after buying my new car my friend is buying a new car from Scott too. After buying the car Scott has remained in contact with me making sure that I know the dealership appreciates my purchase and I always stop in to say hi when I'm getting my FREE weekly car wash! A truly ideal car shopping experience. More
