Top-notch service, quality of work, customer relationship. I've been working with them exclusively for nearly six years for routine maintenance and occasional repair service for my 13-year-old relationship. On only one occasion (long before Mr. Greenhill was there) was I disappointed in the customer service aspect. The quality of work is superb--never any need for rework, never any up-sell for additional goodies, never a problem getting an appointment, never a problem with them meeting the deadline they set (save once for a machinery failure). Arlen is the most personable serrvice advisor I've worked with--he knows my style, my concerns, what's most important to me. He always finds a way to make it work, cost-effectively, least disruption, strong on educating me about what was found and why he recommends--or recommends delaying--a repair or additional service. Can't ask for more. And they always run it through the wash, even after the most basic maintenance--nice touch! Could get cheaper price at Jxxxy Lxxe, but not the quality and service. I trust these guys and intend to stay with them as long as I'm driving Mazdas. I plan on buying my next car from them, primarily because of how good the service department has been to me. More

I bought a car from them, v6 Hyundai Sonata. Great car, great price... or so I thought! 4 months later, the car broke down. This was a low millage car, and it is a 2007. No reason this car should have broken down like that. A week ago, I got an email from them reminding me that my Hyundai was due for routine maintenance. This is what I wrote back, and it accurately details the problems I have had! As follows: Perhaps I would take my Hyundai in for routine maintenance, if it wasn't currently broken and in the shop being repaired. Note that it is not my fault, either. The rack and pinion AND power steering pump broke one day. No reason for it, I was simply driving and began to notice a noise from the engine bay. Then a smell... I parked it, looked in the engine: I was low on power steering fluid. Ok, no big deal, I stopped into Auto Zone and bought a bottle of it. Filled it to the HOT MIN line, and drove the rest of the way to work.That day, on the way home, the noise got louder and the smell got worse. The car became difficult to turn. I drove it home carefully as possible, and took it to DNT auto shop the next week. DNT informed me that my rack and pinion was busted, my power steering pump needed to be replaced, and one of the hoses was leaking fluid... Explaining the noise, the smell, and the low fluid level I had experienced. Due to this, and due to the fact that the car is only 5 YEARS OLD, only 73,000 miles, and I just bought it... I do not believe that I will take my car to your dealership for anything. Not unless it has a sign on it saying "THEY SELL YOU LEMONS!" I appoligize for my bitter tone, but now I am stuck with a car that I have already had to put 1,000 dollars of work into 6 months after buying. And I am stuck with it until I pay it off... Which won't be for a looong time. Therefore, I will take my car for maintenace elsewhere. And the next car I buy, will be from someone else. Pretty much anyone else.. And probably American. (My husband has an 11 year old Monte Carlo SS that has 163k miles on it and runs perfectly!) More
I went to Gerald Jones Mazda because I wanted to trade in my old Lincoln for something new. Al Ingle was very courteous to my husband and I and helped us find a car we really liked. I enjoyed my experience and my husband and I feel we were treated fairly and with respect. The people here will work with you to get you a deal. More
My experience purchasing a brand new Mazda CX7 was excellent. Don Dyches was very personable and provided answers to all of my questions. As we compared notes on our purchasing experiences, I was abale to share with them how smooth the process was and the friendliness Don displayed during the sale. Timewise, my comment can only be thumbs up. I would certainly recommend this sales reppresentative as well as the Gerald Jones Mazda dealership to my friends and associates. (I may even recomend this dealership to those who could be considered my enemies. Maybe it will soften their hearts. Smile.) More
I bought a Mazda from this dealer, and honestly I never imagined a car dealer could be so friendly and helpful. I had just arrived to the city, and they even programmed my GPS! PURCHASED A USED VEHICLE THERE FROM DON DYCHES, DON WAS VERY GOOD TO DEAL WITH, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS DELIVERED TO ME AT THE FRONT OF THE DEALERSHIP BY DON DYCHES, HE HANDED ME A SINGLE KEY, I ASKED ABOUT A VERY GOOD TO DEAL WITH, WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS DELIVERED TO ME AT THE FRONT OF THE DEALERSHIP BY DON DYCHES, HE HANDED ME A SINGLE KEY, I ASKED ABOUT ANOTHER KEY AND THE REMOTE KEY FOBS. DON SAID HE WOULD CHECK ON THEM FOR ME. HE WENT INSIDE THE DEALERSHIP AND CAME OUT A FEW MINUTES LATER. HE TOLD ME HE HAD SPOKEN WITH DON KITTILSON AND DON SAID THEY DID NOT GET ADDITIONAL KEYS OR REMOTE FOBS WHEN VEHICLE WAS TRADED IN TO THEM, HE ALSO TOLD DON DYCHES TO TELL ME THEY "ONLY" MADE $24.00 ON SALE OF VEHICLE TO ME AND THEY WOULD NOT BUY ME ANY REMOTES. I SHOWED DON DYCHES THE WINDOW STICKER THAT GERALD JONES MADZA PUT IN THE WINDOW OF THE VEHICLE SHOWING THE VEHICLE CAME EQUIPTED WITH POWER REMOTE DOOR LOCKS, DON WENT BACK INTO DEALERSHIP AND CAME OUT A FEW MINUTES LATER WITH DON KITTILSON, THE FIRST THING DON KITTILSON SAID TO ME WAS, "WE ONLY MADE $24.00 DOLLARS ON THIS SALE AND I AM NOT BUYING YOU ANY REMOTES". I POINTED OUT TO HIM THE WINDOW STICKER, HE SAID WHY DID'NT I BRING THIS UP TO THEM BEFORE, I TOLD HIM I DID NOT KNOW THE REMOTES WERE NOT WITH THE VEHICLE OR I WOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING. HE ASKED ME IF I WANTED HIM TO GIVE ME MY CHECK BACK, I SAID NO, I JUST WANTED WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET ACCORDING TO THEIR WINDOW STICKER. HE AGAIN ASKED ME IF I WANTED MY CHECK BACK AND AGAIN I SAID NO, I ONLY WANTED WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE COME WITH THE VEHICLE. HE SAID I AM NOT BUYING YOU ANY REMOTES AND AGAIN ASKED IF I WANTED MY CHECK BACK. I ASKED HIM IF THIS WAS WHAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO TELL MY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND PEOPLE I MEET WHEN ASKED WHERE I PURCHASED MY CAR. HE TURNED AND WENT BACK INTO THE DEALERSHIP WITHOUT ANOTHER WORD. I bought a used 2001 Honda Civic from this dealer. The salesman, Scott was very helpful, compassionate and customer centered. I felt great being able to have a dealer work with me to make my purchase easy. Needless to say we got this Honda at a great price, but we soon found out why. Excited, we left the dealership for a day out in our new car. 4 hours after we bought the car bam! the transmission had gone out. Of course we bought the car on a Saturday and by the time the car broke down they were closed for the evening and the weekend. All weekend we were stressed and puzzled if we would be stuck with this red lawn decoration or would it be fixed. Monday when approaching the dealership Scott met us at the door. He could tell something was wrong. He introduced us to the Service member by the name of Dwight. Dwight moved swiftly to make sure the car got towed and taken care of. Ater 3 days of waiting we were told that we were getting a NEW transmission at no cost to us. When calling 2 days after that to get an update the story changed to a Rebuilt transmission and it would be done that Saturday. I also expressed that the lights flicker on and off many times when music or acceleration is at its greatest. He said this problem would be looked at and assessed if necessary. I recived my car back on Saturday as promised. I still had a light flickering problem and was going to return the car the Monday following. Comes to find out during the weekend this awful smell came from the bottom end of the car. When driving it you had to roll down all the windows, not run the air or anything. I take the car back to them on Monday. I'm told its a transmission problem and that I am to take it down to the transmission shop that repaired it. After contacting them turns out the intercooler to the transmission was not hooked up. Major safty hazard. 2 weeks later the car went into safty mode. The dealer had the other shop come out to get the car, needless to say they did not know what was going on with the car but pulled check engine codes on the car. Reported them to the dealer and then cleared them. The car was towed down to their shop where it sat in the same spot all weekend and all day monday with no work being preformed. I drove by to see the car in the same spot on many hours of the day. When I contacted the Service Manager about this problem he said that they could not replicate the problem and could not fix it. He went to the back and began to eat his Lunch. Sonic to be specific while i stood at the counter hanging on what was going on with the car. Being ignored I went to the extream of calling the receptionist who could see me standing at the counter to just get his attention. The car was sent home, no appologies and no explinations. Two days later the car replicates the problem again. Leaving me stranded again. The car was returned and took a lengthy amount of time to get fixed. When contacting the Sales manager about what is going on he began to chew me out, treat me as if i was stupid and told me his "goodwill" is done with. 10 days later this car breaks down again. Needless to say this all has happend in 30 days of owning the car. Today we went to Gerald Jones Honda to talk to Andy Jones. This gentleman made sure that the car was picked up quickly, I had reliable transportation while they had the car and promised to keep me updated on my vehicle. His customer service skills are great! Needless to say if your looking into buying a car at a cheap price Id buy somewhere else. The sales team will sell you anything but that anything can have anything wrong with it. Be able to handle nasty additutdes sometimes being hung up on, and always ignored. More
