Best car buying experience I've ever had I'd been waiting to buy a 2016 MX-5 Miata for several months, ever since the official launch of the new car earlier this year. I checked Gerald Jones' I'd been waiting to buy a 2016 MX-5 Miata for several months, ever since the official launch of the new car earlier this year. I checked Gerald Jones' inventory on their website every week or so, and on Sunday, October 25, the correct model in the color I wanted showed up. I submitted a request for a price quote. (I knew the price, from Mazda's website. This was just a way for me to get things started.) Brittany Sterling of the dealer's internet team got in touch with me right away, and said she'd forward my request to the sales staff. Wade Howard replied via phone and email, and let me know that the car I'd seen was a customer order, and was already sold. I suggested that if he could find me another one similarly equipped, I'd still be interested. He had all week - I would be out of town until Friday. Wade called me back on Friday. He'd located two such cars in the southeastern dealership region. I came in that afternoon to have a look at another MX-5 Miata (not to my spec, but still worth a look) and to talk about the price. I ended up purchasing one of the cars he'd located, based on my own research, a cursory look at the one they had, and Wade's extensive knowledge of the product. I wrote a check for the down payment. My only disappointment was a minor one - There were no financing incentives or very low interest loans available on the Miata. So I elected to pay cash. The following day, (Saturday, October 31) Wade called and told me that the car was on site, and being cleaned up and inspected. I caught a ride to the dealership, and hung around while my car and that of another couple also buying a Miata were prepared. I spent the two hours reading the car's owner's manual. Finally, I was able to complete the paperwork, go through basic orientation of the car, and take a drive with Wade. All that remains to do now is wait for the title and bill of sale, then register the car and put a tag on it. NOTES: I've been buying cars since 1975, and occasional new cars from dealerships since 1979. This was, by an order of magnitude, the best car buying experience I've ever had. Gerald Jones Mazda made me feel like a minor celebrity, just for wanting to buy a car. I really enjoyed working with Wade Howard. It isn't often that I meet a car salesman who is also a motorhead. He had extensive knowledge of cars in general, and knew everything about the Miata. We talked cars for hours. It was very enjoyable. I got a chance to meet other members of the team, in parts, service, and finance. Good folks, all around. Finally, if the car itself is anywhere near as good as the dealership... you've just made a loyal customer. More

I was in and out with minimal wait time and the work seems to have been completed to my satisfaction as always. (PS the tribute is approaching the 250K milestone and is running great) More

Routine maintanance Friendly staff, took time to diagnose problem. Ended up needed a brake job and a hose reconnection, gave a very reasonable price for the brakes.
