Made an appointment for recall work on pilot. Told it would take an hour. Upon arrival was told 1.5 hours. After waiting 1 3/4 hours I went to find the status. They said they would check. Another ten minutes they come back to tell me they had not started yet. It would be 2 more hours! They offered me a car that was nice but if anything happened to the car, even if not my fault, I was responsible. Was planning on trading in for a new pilot but now think I will look at other models. I am 39 years old and thanks to God, I have been blessed to have at least 12 vehicles over my lifetime. I have worked with numerous dealerships from buying, service, repairs and more. Now, this is what promoted me to write about Rick Maack, he went over and beyond to help my 17 daughter and I in their service department with her 97 Honda Accord. He greeted us as we were leaving, I felt so comfortable talking to him about what her vehicle needed, he immediately stopped asked us to bring her car indoors. He was so amazing, he checked everything that we had mention. I was so amazed by Rick Maack a SERVICE MANAGER, not the SERVICER (that fixed cars); Rick took his time and worked on every little thing we mention. The main issue was that my daughter needed a new door handle. I had ordered the handle before working with Rick. Rick stopped, went to service repair and got a quote. He told us to personally contact him. Today, January 13, 2012 he went over and beyond to get my daughter’s fixed. Then, he noticed her windshield wiper was broken and got it fixed. Rick Maack in the service department is one of the most amazing people that I have met in this industry. He is a valued employee Planet Honda, he is one of their best customer care representatives. I was upset to learn that my accord with 18,000 miles needed rear brakes already. I know it wasn't the dealers fault that Honda had a poor rear brake pad. Our service advisor Rick took the time and sat down with us and explained why it happened and what he was going to do to fix it. All the years i have had Honda's and gone to other dealers i have never had any one seem like they really cared that i was upset and really make an effort to listen the way he did and work to fix it. I had to pay $300 to repair the rear brakes but it was worth it. Rick made sure i had extra copies of the paper work for the class action suit when i was there to pick up the car. He also took the time to show me how to fillout the form for it. Planet Honda will have me comming back there from now on. Thanks again for the great service. More
We bought our Honda from a different dealership and had horrible experience with their service department. So, I took a chance and made an appointment with Planet Honda. From the moment I called Planet Honda, I knew this would be a different experience. The gal on the phone told me exactly what to expect when I brought my van in, in the morning. Rick, in service, greeted me and listened. Let me repeat -- HE LISTENED. He then explained everything to me. He called a few times within the same day to explain what was going on. He was truly on my side. I cannot say enough nice things. Amazing experience and if/when we buy another Honda....it will be from Planet Honda. More

Even before I walked into the front door of the dealership (an employee was outside and held the door open as I walked in), I was made to feel welcome. I didn't feel pressured to buy a car, but I did buy a Honda Civic before I left the first time I walked into the dealership. I bought a Honda Civic in March of 2009. I have been very satisfied with the car and with the service department. I've brought the car to the dealership for oil changes and other recommended services and each time the service department did an excellent job. Each person I've come into contact with at Planet Honda was friendly, efficient and informative. The dealership (even the bathroom) is always clean and uncluttered. I have recommended this dealership (and the Honda Civic) to friends and relatives. More
