Came back the next day and spoke to Seymour with the inteniton on negotiating a much lower Sales Price and Buying the Car without wasting too much time. 2 hours into the process, he finally took My offer of $16900 intothe sales manager office only to return with a counter offer of $17,800 written on a piece of paper. I re-countered and wrote FINAL OFFER- $17,200 and we agreed on that price. The vehicle is valued at $20k, so, i didn't get a bad deal. I was pleased with Seymour's sales ability and personality. He got the car filled up, washed, waxed, and plates changed and i was ready to go after about 3 & 1/2 - 4 hours. More

Jill made o If you are looking to purchase a Honda, the best car manufacturer, call Planet Honda in Matteson and ask them what days Jill is working. Jill made our experience very, very informative, did her very best to get as close to our purchase price as possible and we also found it relaxing. She is respectful of your wants and needs and we have never met a woman who knew everything about the cars she sells. She took extra time to teach us how to use all the amnesties our car had to offer. We knew she had another customer waiting for her, but she never rushed her time with us. Who does that! Jill will do that for you. It's not just another sale for her. she wants you to really enjoy your purchase. We are loyal fans of the Honda line. So we are particular what dealership we choose. Planet Honda, that's where you need to shop for your car. After purchasing 9 Honda's during the last 14 years, this was by far, our best experience. Don't forget to ask for JILL. More

The sales personnel are not typical of the reputation of many car sales people. They are not coercive but try to be helpful in finding the type of automobile you are looking for and helpful in working with you to get the best possible deal. My sales person was Ken Jordan. The service department has also always been very accommodating, knowledgeable and professional. I have leased three Honda Pilots in several years. More

Horrible experience. Do not trust these guys. Got a price quote from Jessica (an internet specialist). It was the lowest of all the dealerships, so I told the other dealerships I was done. I tri Got a price quote from Jessica (an internet specialist). It was the lowest of all the dealerships, so I told the other dealerships I was done. I tried to get back with Jessica multiple times, but she never returned my calls. I finally got a hold of Ken (a sales manager) and I emailed him the price quote she emailed me. He said she had quoted me the wrong car and they didn't have any on their lot and it would cost $300-$500 to do a locate for me. They did not honor the price and neither did they seem sorry. I was very disappointed that it was a complete error on their side and they did nothing to make things right. Please don't buy from these guys. More
No haggle really hurts the buyer Came in to see a vehicle, nice sales guy, ok price. Car has some issues, major rust from steel belt coastal area. Price is ok, IF the car was from Col Came in to see a vehicle, nice sales guy, ok price. Car has some issues, major rust from steel belt coastal area. Price is ok, IF the car was from Colo, but not great. Everyone should get something when buying a car,the dealer should get profit and the buyer a great deal, thats the winning way to sell cars. If you buy cars at auction and they are priced so you cant do that, then dont buy them. "We dont haggle, our customers love it." I dont think so if issues like this arise, I think you simply arent aware. I also think the no haggle thing is something they did for themselves, not the customers. I think this policy hurts in this area. Car was an ok price, not a great price, and even worse since it had issues. Also, if the FEES are so clearly up front then I think you would simply call it a price out the door. $19,500, not 19,000 and then in small writing plus fee of $500. Just say, $19,500 out the dorr, thats "very" clear. I really liked the sales guy but... they reality of the dealership just didnt live up to the hype. More
UGH! -- classic "BATE and SWITCH!" We were referred to Planet Honda (one hour away from where I live) though the Sam's Club (no haggling) buying program. After speaking with Don, the De We were referred to Planet Honda (one hour away from where I live) though the Sam's Club (no haggling) buying program. After speaking with Don, the Dealer's DESIGNATED Sam's Club representative, he passed me off to someone else (don't remember her name). After speaking with her on the phone, and confirming she was going to b able to meet with us, we arrived to discover she was across the street at the dealer's Toyota dealer and busy with a customer. "No Problem" we thought, while we were waiting we let Planet's salesman Mike showed us the vehicle and gave us a test drive. After the test drive, we asked about getting our "Sam's Club No Haggle Price" and Mike said he had never heard of such a thing. We again asked for Don, (or the woman he'd refereed us to) -- again we were told they weren't available and that Mike could/would be "OUR ADVOCATE" as he talked to his boss, the sales manager, and gave him our offer! . . . "Our offer? What happened to no haggling I asked" -- "Oh, this isn't haggling, I'm simply YOUR ADVOCATE trying to get you the best possible price." Mike replied. "What price would make you buy the car today?" -- "This is haggling I said. I don't want to make an offer and I don't need an advocate to negotiate for me. What's the dealer's final best price?" . . . . This went on for a few minutes before I finally asked to speak with a high up. While waiting I called Sam's Club's Auto Buying Customer Service Line and confirmed if I (or the dealership) was doing something wrong? They informed me I should only speak to Don (their designated sales guy) and if he wasn't avaliable I should walk out. . . . After a few minutes, the sales manager came over, and I demanded to speak with Don. After a ten minute wait Don (the internet sales guy and the person Sam's Cub requires us to speak with) arrived and I informed him he had lost our sale (at any prices) and that I was going to report him to Sam's Club for deceptive sales practices.
