I own. 2014 Honda CRV that now needs an expensive repair for a known defect with the timing belt. I didn’t buy this vehicle here but I brought it there for 2014 Honda CRV that now needs an expensive repair for a known defect with the timing belt. I didn’t buy this vehicle here but I brought it there for diagnosis of this problem . They quoted $2300. My research found Honda has known about this defect for years but never issued a recall. My beef with the dealership is that, after I went to Honda and complained, they looked into a “goodwill’ determination to fix this at no cost but I am told this dealer put the veto on that. There is a class action already certified over this and I guess that will be my only possible recourse here. I have bought four Hondas in a row but no more. And I would have gone to this dealer for this new car this year but that won’t happen now. Time for a Toyota, I guess. More
