I would recommend anyone to use this sales person. I was going to get my car from Pensylvania due to great price offer...but because of my experience with Brian I ended up buying from Continental Honda. More

What people typically think when buying a car I went into this dealership after having been a proud Honda owner for the last 12 years. I left knowing that after that experience that I would NEVER drive a Honda again, not because Honda's are sub-standard vehicles (which is NOT the case) but because of how I was treated while at this dealership and this dealership alone. I walked into the dealership looking to purchase a brand new Honda Accord, just a newer model of the same type of cars I have driven for years. I had plenty of money to put down, decent credit, with a co-signer if needed, and a general idea of what I was looking for from a price perspective. I sat down with a newer sales guy, his name was Nick, I explained that I still owe on my previous Honda and will need to to roll that amount into a new loan, or I could simply pay that off on the spot if necessary, whatever would help the deal along as possible. Nik assured me that this would be no issue, and that they do that all the time. We test drove some cars, landed on, "the one" and began what in hindsight was a 2 1/2 hour negotiation, where we were never really on the same page. Nik kept going back and forth with his finance manager, Erik, who has been with the company for 13 years. Things were going well, we established a favorable down payment, and monthly payment that would fit perfectly with budget and what I was looking for. All seemed to be going well. Nik even gave the offer the patented car sales man "circle" on the paperwork, to indicate that WE HAVE A DEAL. Excitement was building, I was finally going to be purchasing the car of my dreams... Only to find out shortly there after, that Nik did not take into consideration any of my previous provided information, primarily that I still owed some on my old car (A Honda Accord). He then seemed very offended that I brought that up, almost as if that information was not his concern nor did it matter. I reminded him that when we first sat down I shared that information with him, I even showed him, on his own notes, where he wrote that information down at. He went back to the manager, Erik, who came back to me with a price that was $200 more on a monthly basis, after we had agreed to terms not less than five minutes ago. At that point, I thought it would be best if we could open up channels of communication, I politely asked Nik if we could get Erik involved on a more personal level, that way he could understand what it is I was looking to accomplish for the day. Nik then told me and my potential co-signer that we would have to wait in the lobby, that we were no longer to be sitting at his desk (very very dismissive). I asked why this was, Nik had shared with me that, it may be sometime before Erik would be available to speak with me and he wanted to make sure he could take another customer if that was possible (almost as if he had given up making a deal with and my business all together). Frustrated we still waited, the Accord was what I was going to buy and being in the dealership already I thought maybe Erik would be able to calm the situation, after having been there for over 13 years. Erik finally did approach us, he apologized for the confusion, but made it abundantly evident that it was My (the customer) fault that he was not operating under factual information and therefore he could not offer me the same deal. After sharing with him that I did make Nik privy to all necessary details, and even showed him on Nik's notes what he had omitted, I simply asked what else was possible here. Erik, was visually frustrated that he had been asked over, and it was apparent that he did NOT want to be involved in this situation at all. At this point I was uncomfortable, my co-signer was uncomfortable and it seemed very much so like our business was not wanted nor our long standing Honda loyalty was appreciated. Erik said he would speak with Nik to determine if something was going to be doable. I should mention here that there were less than 10 customers in the dealership at this point, there were many many other sales guys just walking around and it was NOT a busy time, this was mid-day on a Wednesday. We proceeded to wait for a response from either of these two gentleman for 25 minutes. At that point, I asked another sales guy for some insight and he shared with us that they would be right back. All the while they were standing at the other end of the dealership, laughing and joking with one another, clearly visible from where we were. We waited 5 more minutes and then collectively determined that I would not be doing business with a place like this. I wish that things ended here... We got up and walked out the front door of the dealership, we did not say a single word to anyone on the way out. My car was parked front and center in front of the dealership front doors. We got to my car, unlocked the doors and attempted to get in. At this point both Erik and Nik ran out the door yelling to me, "Mike where are you going? Why did you just walk out like that?" I calmly said, "Erik, after what has happened here in the last 30 minutes I have determined that I will not be buying a car from you or your dealership, this has been a horrible experience, only amplified by the fact that you guys are legitimately chasing me out the door." Erik, the finance manager of 13 years, proceeded to say to me, "Mike if you are going to be an xxxxxx then do Nik and I a favor and get the f*** out of here" (this is a verbatim of what was said) This was while I was sitting in the front seat of my car, with the windows rolled down. Both my co-signer and I heard this abrasive and derogatory statement. He wanted me to stop and go back into the dealership, I felt, at that point threatened and attacked, from a place that I stood to spend 35-40 thousand dollars at, not less than 45 minutes earlier.
