What a great experience with the Matick folks. After an accident recently, my Insurance Agent recommended I take my car to Matick Chevrolet to be repaired in their Body Shop. There was a Chevy store close accident recently, my Insurance Agent recommended I take my car to Matick Chevrolet to be repaired in their Body Shop. There was a Chevy store closer to my home in Southfield but I decided to listen to her advice and take my car down to Matick. I couldn't be more satisfied with my decision. The Body Shop employees made me feel welcome and kept me informed throughout the repair process. I was able to see my car every day being repaired and I got a nice new Cruze to drive while they repaired it. I didn't know what to expect, I've never been in an accident as bad as the one I was in - but when my Malibu got back to me it was unrecognizable! It looked about 5x better than when it went in and I felt like I got my new car back!!! When I picked it up, they explained what they did and helped me process everything with my insurance. I couldn't be more happy! THANK YOU! More
I was really impressed with my last visit to Matick. I brought my Tahoe in for Service and was prepared for the worst. Something wasn't right. When I got there, Phil took care of me and listed to what I was trying to tell him was happening. Of course it was sporadic, so who knew if it was going to happen at that moment. He took it and gave me a rental, which turned out to be a new Impala with 500 miles on it. After a couple of hours he called me to let me know what they'd found, and what I could expect pricewise. It was less expensive than I'd anticipated and he said he could get it back to me the next day. When I came back to drop off the Impala, Jim the Service Manager greeted me, took care of getting me the car and explaining and showing me what they did. Overall I felt really well taken care of and look forward to getting something newer there when my husband's lease is up. More
Had my problem taken care of at Matick, they were very understanding and fixed my problem with my truck. I will go back and have my truck serviced by their dept. when anything happens to my truck. Very expensive, for instance to bleed the breaks is $174. Few streets down the road the same service is offered for $40-$80. Customer services not very attentive, even after mentioning the huge difference in the price they did not compromise on their price to make the customer more appreciated. The receipt is not itemized; therefore one has no idea where the extra charges came from. There is no coordination between the employees, they told me that the wait will be at least 2 hours and only 10 minutes later (when I was about to leave the lot) the mechanic said it is ready. (This was a recall work that they had to do on the car) As a customer I felt unappreciated and I still feel that they had taken advantage of the situation. I will never go back and I DO NOT recommend this place. More
