George Harte Nissan is committed to 100% Customer Satisfaction. Unfortunately, George Harte Nissan does not maintain what qualifies under warantee coverage and what does not, Nissan does that. PFalcone brougt his vehicle in for issues that would normally be covered under warantee, however, upon investigation, it was uncovered that the primary cause of the distress was due to a parking brake spring, which is not covered under warantee. Since the primary issue was not under warantee, damages caused by that primary issue are also not covered. George Harte Nissan willingly preforms any work that Nissan is willing to cover, but cannot mandate what they are willing to fix and what they are not. We are sorry for any inconveneice this may have caused this customer. It is always difficult when the vehicle we depend on has issues, and luckily in this case, the technical concern was fairly simple and all we had to do was clear your check engine light. As we never opened your hood, it was very difficult for us to confirm that the dent you had in your hood was the fault of the dealership; however, in the spirit of good faith, we agreed to split the cost of the dent.
