I visited this place on a Friday, I was greeted by Joe and Jay. The experience was different from the start, I didn't feel pressured into anything and felt they were buddies rather than salesmen. They showed great customer service skills and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a USED/NEW Nissan. The salesman Joe even contacted me on his day off to make sure everything was going according to plan. I can't say enough good things about this dealership! More
My buying experience was a pleasant one. Walter listened to my needs and was determined to meet them. He was very easy to talk with, and a pleasure to deal with. Very personable, and informative. We truly enjoyed out time spent with him. He was working under extreme heat conditions as the air conditioning in his office was not working, but still kept a great sense of humor. Also, the computer tools he had to work with are antiquated, but that didn't prevent him from accomodating us. The staff all appeared friendly and to actually enjoy working together, which makes for a pleasant customer experience. More
i went to george harte nissan with my pre-order for a i went to george harte nissan with my pre-order for a 2013 altima and a 2008 wrangler as a trade-in. first Kelvin, Sales Manager, low balled the i went to george harte nissan with my pre-order for a 2013 altima and a 2008 wrangler as a trade-in. first Kelvin, Sales Manager, low balled the value of my trade-in by over $4000 thinking i was a sucker (i know the value of my jeep). i walked out of the dealership. the next day i recieved a phone call evaluating how my experience was at george harte nissan and i told them about the offer i recieved for my jeep and how insulted i was. within an hour Kelvin calls me and asked me if i can come back to talk about my trade-in again. this time Kelvin offered a price that was almost fair. if my wife and i were not so interested in the new altima i still would have not considered it. reluctantly i accepted the offer and put a down payment on the altima. now the worst part of all of this is Kevin's behavior. This man is extremely rude and pushy, he will interupt and speak over you constantly. when you do get a moment to speak he walks away. there was one moment that my wife and i were asked to wait at one of the tables in their showroom, after a couple of minutes my wife looked over and saw Mr. Kelvin standing outside next to a cupcake truck eating a cupcake while we are still waiting inside. That evening my wife and i talk about our experience at george harte and how disgusted we were with the down right rude and disrespectful behavior of Kelvin and we decided that this dealership does not deserve our buisness and we would cancel the order and go to a different dealer. george harte has to this point provided no service for us so we were entitled to a refund of our deposit. when we called george harte to cancel the order Kelvin answered the phone and i told him to cancel the order, refund my deposit and release my pre-order for the 2013 altima that i am interested in (the pre-order cost $50 online). he asked why and i told him how we did not appriciate the type of treatment my wife and i recieved from him. WOW! did that bring out some true colors in Kelvin. after that i could not get 2 words in. anytime i tried to say anything at all Kelvin would just interupt and talk over everything i tried to say. he said that he would not sign off on the refund of my depost, that i am entitled to, and hung up on me. if i hung up on a customer at my job i would not have a job to go back to. next, my wife and i contacted the better buisness bureau. a couple of days later we recieved phone calls of apologie from other people at george harte not Kelvin (i guess he doesnt do apologies) and we recieved our deposit back, all we were waiting for now was for george harte to release the pre-order of our altima so i can go to another dealership. after about 2 weeks of waiting i got an email that my pre-order was canceled. Kelvin and george harte cancelled my order without my permission to spite me for contacting the BBB. fortunately we have been in contact with nissan corporate during this entire proccess along with another dealer that has been very good to me and my wife. Fortunately nissan corporate has reinstated my pre-order and hopefully are doing something about the way george harte and their managers treat people. my recomendation - AVOID GEORGE HARTE NISSAN AS IF IT WAS THE PLAGUE !!! if you enjoy being treated like something that you would find on the bottom of your shoe at a dog park, go see Kelvin - Sales Manager. This con-artist has no problem telling you to "be a man", but he himself cant "man up" when he knows he has done wrong. This dealership will try to screw you over at every turn and encourages their managers to do so. More
We have been dealing with George Harte Nissan for about 10 years and have always have an excellent experience. The people we have dealt with have been pleasant to work with and very helpful. Carl was very friendly and I had an enjoyable experience while looking for and purchasing a car. He assisted me with everything from looking at different models to comparing prices to a test drive. It was a busy day at the dealership, but Justin and his supervisor (I can't remember his name) were so helpful. We didn't want to spend a lot of time looking at cars, and they didn't try to talk us into s supervisor (I can't remember his name) were so helpful. We didn't want to spend a lot of time looking at cars, and they didn't try to talk us into something we did not want. We knew what we wanted, told them so, and they moved so efficiently to get it for us. We had our 2 children with us, and they were so kind and generous to the children as we moved through the buying process. We test drove our car, discussed financing, and did everything we could (the vehicle was at another dealership and would be delivered the following Monday) in well under 2 hours. We are delighted to have the free maintenance for a year, and my daughter and I will certainly take advantage of the Thursday or Saturday manicures! My husband and I say thank you to all of the people we worked with at George Harte, for a quick, painless, easy car-buying experience. More
Definitley the best dealership I have ever been to which is why I am on my second Nissan from there and it's the only dealership I now go to. I tell everyone how great that place is. I even told my Facebook friends so I hope you get even more business. They treated me like a queen from the moment i stepped in there. I was greeted politely, they offered me a soda, coffee or water each time I arrived. They even noticed I had a different hair stair from the day I looked at cars to the day I signed the final paperwork which was amazing. They were very kind but didn't seem fake at all. They were genuine. Being a single mom and going in there alone I was nervous at first but they were fair, were honest and are definitely a woman friendly environment. You have a customer for life. Even the repair people are wonderful. I had my last car serviced there and always had a great experience. And while I was purchasing my car I ran into friends I know looking at cars there (also repeat customers) as well and they too made a purchase so that speaks volumes that people keep coming back. If you ever need a spokesperson for a write up or commercials I would be happy to as I want the world to know what a wonderful, honest, warm and friendly dealership you run. Keep up the good work. My hats off to you all on a job well done. The cars are great but I keep coming back because of the customer service I receive. That's what separates you from other dealerships. One of the best overall car buying experiences. No high pressure to buy a vehicle we did not want or to purchase anything extra we did not want. He was also very knowledgeable about he vehicle I was purchasing and explained and demonstrated all the features very clearly. The day I was at George Harte seems to have been a very busy day, but I never felt rushed into making a decision. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from George Harte Nissan. The main reason for returning to George Harte was the service department. It is by far the best service department of any dealership we have ever dealt with. Most of my contact over the past several years has been with Dave Fagnani and he has become more of a freind than just someone who takes your keys when you drop off your vehicle. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything in detail, never trying to force me into service I didn't really need or explaining why something really needs to be taken care of immediately or if it can wait until the next service interval. I would highly recommend George Harte Nissan to anyone who is thinking of buying a new car and when it is time for a new car again, I will be back to George Harte. More
