My Wife and I had recently purchased a used XC60 Volvo from Jolanda and Max. What a beautiful car and the process of trading in our old SUV was handled extremely well. Max worked hard to get us the best value for our trade-in, and he has since gone above and beyond our expectation of service. I personally was so impressed with the Volvo product and especially the staff at Gengras, that we returned just recently to trade-in our other vehicle and purchased a second used Volvo. We have since told several friends and Family about our experience at Gengras Volvo and highly recommended them. I am dumbfounded. After years of excellent service, my husband brought my Volvo in for an oil change. Each time I have made an appointment for an oil change, I have been told I don't need to make an appoi husband brought my Volvo in for an oil change. Each time I have made an appointment for an oil change, I have been told I don't need to make an appointment. The have apparently changed that policy. Today he was turned away because he had no appointment. I called the Service Manager in Hartford and he said, yes, we needed an appointment, and he agreed my husband should not have been turned away. That's it. My husband is now travelling from Meriden to Hartford to get an oil change at the place he uses for his car. What has happened to your customer service? More
I've owned Volvos for over 30 years, and with 212K on our V70XC, it was time to look for newer car. Gengras of Meriden had several pre-owned cars on hand including the 2010 V60XC. We had a hard time choosing V70XC, it was time to look for newer car. Gengras of Meriden had several pre-owned cars on hand including the 2010 V60XC. We had a hard time choosing between several cars because they all looked brand new with very low mileage, so we knew we would not be disappointed. Everyone was incredibly friendly but working with John Rita as our salesman and Max Deselin as the financier really sealed the deal for us. I know we made the right choice for both the car and dealership and could not be happier. More

Experience with Rich Lewis has been outstanding. Always knowledgeable in explaining service, reason for repairs and cost. He is a major asset to your company. Significant problem occurred outside service knowledgeable in explaining service, reason for repairs and cost. He is a major asset to your company. Significant problem occurred outside service department as a low engine oil light keeps coming out even after car was assessed and several repairs were completed at a cost. Volvo head Quarters was contacted as to what might be low oil level light problem, eventhough there is penty of oil and car was checked. A ticket was started, but No solution has been found or reason determined by Volvo head quarters as why low oil light comes on and off. I feel Rich has done what he can and Volvo Corp is not able to provide a reason or guidance in thi area. Unfortunatley Volvo headquartes lack of guidance swayed me to purchase another car. I'm hoping this gets resolved as my sister has car now and light comes and goes. My guess this a faulty car?? More
Jola was so helpful when I was deciding what type of car to get. She took me on a great test drive with my new Volvo S60. They were so great I was in my car the following week and I felt safe leaving with my car knowing that I got the best deal.
