Honest, amiable and there to help. I love this dealership! Me and my wife where looking for a car that was suited to our needs since we are looking to start a family soon. We had gone to several other "top" dealerships in the state but had not found the price, car, or honest salesmanship we where looking for. Simply put, everywhere else we went we where treated as if our needs did not matter. We then decided to go local (being a Torrington resident) and decided to give Center Subaru a shot. At this time we where not even sure we wanted a Subaru. Jonathan found us on the lot casually looking at the vehicles. It wasn't long until we where test driving cars that might be suitable for our needs. He finally showed us the Subaru Impreza(5 Door). We fell in love with it, and the rest is history. After test driving several vehicles including non-Subaru's, we purchased a Forester on Joe's recommendation. He knew we would love it and "we did". After we decided on this vehicle then the work began. Previously my wife's car was a total loss in a wreck and after the insurance company stopped paying for our rental Joe stepped up without being asked and offered one of their house cars at no charge until our new Subaru arrived saving us a few dollars out of our pocket. I am generally "turned off" by most salespeople...too pushy, more interested in hearing themselves talk than learning about what I need, etc. I didn't see any of this behavior at Center Subaru. The sales consultant that my teenage daughter and I worked with, Lou Credidio, was very helpful and extremely pleasant to deal with. He let us know that he was relatively new to Center and to selling the Subaru line, but he had a lot of knowledge and, on the one or two occasions when he wasn't absolutely sure about some detail, was quick to check his info with another staff member or on the computer. Lou listened to what we were looking for (we were considering both the Forester and the Outback) and addressed our needs and the relative appropriateness of each model. The test drives were designed to put the cars thru their paces, including going up a steep hill from a stop. After we took delivery of the car, he encouraged us to call or come by with any questions. Lou is definitely the most courteous, organized and straightforward vehicle salesperson that I have encountered. More
