I am very disappointed w/ Genesis of Towson (G of T). I’ve been searching online for weeks for one of the highest demand vehicles and finally found one available. It was at G of T and when I called they told me it was available. I wanted to come next day but they said they couldn’t g’tee it wouldn’t be sold and they are open until 9pm, implying I needed to get in as fast as possible (I live 90 minutes away). So, my wife and I rescheduled our day so we could go immediately. I informed G of T of this, said I would be there in 2 hours max, and requested they ensure the vehicle would be available to purchase. They said they “had the key”. I was 20 minutes from the dealership when they called to tell me someone just walked in and is looking at the vehicle to possibly purchase and they would have priority over me. I know this is an unprecedented seller’s market but this was your opportunity to help lose the reputation that many people have of dealerships are “shady” actors. Considering dealerships have practically zero risk of moving almost the entirety of their inventory quickly, not to mention this vehicle which is in such high demand, there was absolutely no reason to NOT give me the courtesy of informing that other person that a customer is on the way in and has priority. Adding “market adjustments” (a subtle phrase for price gouging) and not giving that courtesy to me only serves to promote more disdain and “shady” characterizations for car dealerships. More

GENESIS OF TOWSON - A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE YOU'LL LOVE As the owner of at least 15 cars in my 72 years, I can say regretfully that buying a car has rarely been an experience without issues. But then there's Genesis of Towson....where I became a convert! Never have I been so professionally treated and felt so comfortable TRUSTING that my Sales Consultant, Ibrahim, had primarily had my interest at heart. From his cordial manner to his efforts to LISTEN to what I needed...and his knowledgeable and responsive answers, I was given honest and fair treatment. He knew his inventory and, after a lengthy test drive with me, quickly matched my needs with an excellent vehicle choice. But we weren't quite there yet! I changed my mind about several features and he found the perfect choice based on all of my specifications. The incentives and other reductions on the second vehicle were even larger than the first...and it was more to my liking! After reviewing again the particulars to be sure I was totally informed, he took me to see the Finance Manager, Nima, who availed me of some upgraded services to the vehicle, which I declined...but felt no undue pressure from him to sign up for them. He also listened to my needs and experience buying cars in the past...about 90% forgettable and some really regrettable! He then went out to talk to the General Manager, John, returned with him, and after a brief enjoyable conversation by a proud daddy about his daughters, he honored me by including an upgrade in the price of the vehicle. I can't say enough about how professional but also warm each of these individuals were. I left very very happy and satisfied. The icing on the cake was that Ibrahim DELIVERED the Genesis G70 TO MY HOME and spent nearly 1.5 hours explaining the many features and settings of the car. I have owned many luxury brands, including MB, and NEVER have they delivered or offered to deliver the car to my house. As this was a Christmas Surprise for my wife, Ibrahim had to accomplish this in a parking lot a short difference from my house. So in summary, the entire experience at Genesis of Towson was topnotch! If their service department is as efficient, thorough and considerate as their sales staff, I would call this the best car buying experience I've ever had...by leaps and bounds. Well done! More
