My vehicle was brought (2023 Genesis G70) for service on 10/12/2024. For an oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor Jeremy had looked into the vehicle and confirmed that there was a recall on the vehi 10/12/2024. For an oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor Jeremy had looked into the vehicle and confirmed that there was a recall on the vehicle and it would just be a quick update won’t take long. While my vehicle was in service I was given a call by Hunter in the sales department asking me if I wanted to get my vehicle appraised I told them no, I just got the vehicle and he proceeds and says “well I’m sure you can’t afford another one anyways” 5 hours later my vehicle was given back. (What took so long I am unsure) in the meantime when my partner dropped off the vehicle to my job where I was at (about a 30 minute drive) my vehicle overheated. I was furious I gave the service department a call. I was connected with the scheduling coordinator, I advised him of my situation. He wasn’t sure what to do. I was transferred to a sales manager because the service manager was not in on vacation. The service manager was actually helpful and very apologetic he looked into the situation and connected me back to the service advisor Jeremy told me their was nothing they can do and they close in an hour and a half. I asked him what was I supposed to do, he told me he don’t have towing service on the weekends and I was to far away for them to do anything. I told them it was unacceptable my vehicle was in perfect condition prior to it being dropped off, it was the first service on my Genesis. Never had any issues prior. I was told that he was going to look into it and see what was able to be done. I called my mechanic he showed up and discovered my cooling fan was disconnected (why it was disconnected for an oil change I am not sure) and also discovered that the tires were never rotated (one of the tires have a small slash due to a curb and it was in the same position driver side back tire). I am still yet to hear from Jeremy on the next steps. Never gave me a call back. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN. More
