My husband and I were in on June 16, 2020 to have my car serviced (general maintenance) and I was truly appalled at how little concern was paid to health and safety in this time of the pandemic. It is one thing if the guys who are performing the service are not masked...they are not seeing customers; but I was shocked to see that not one service consultant was wearing a mask. Not one service consultant was practicing social distancing. In fact one was no more than a foot away from my face when discussing service. There was no plexiglass shield between me and the service consultant at any time. When my car was ready, no one mentioned if the steering wheel or shift had been wiped down with disinfecting wipes so I did that myself. We came in fully masked...if nothing else, that should have been a signal to the service consultants that we were concerned and I would have thought they would have picked up on our concern and put on a mask - or at least stayed a proper distance from us. I was truly upset by the lack of safety measures adhered to at this dealership. I realize the dealership is in Waukesha and Waukesha has been fighting the COVID-19 safety restrictions since the beginning and may be further ahead on their reopenings than Milwaukee is. But as a service industry, I find the lack of concern repugnant. I literally saw only one employee (I believe it was a sales person) wearing a mask. I applaud him....I am absolutely shocked that this dealership cares so little about its customers. I've been bringing my Sonata to this dealership for service since I got it...but if the pandemic is still a consideration when I next need maintenance on my car, I will have to think twice about returning. I am very disappointed. This information was also sent to the dealership. I received no response from them. More
