This dealership is the best for price and the salesperson was great. I walked in the dealership to purchase a SUV and out came the most beautiful smile. I purchase the SUV for well under the amount off KBB and John gave me an apr lower than what my bank had previously offered prior to going up there. It was well worth the 2 and half hour drive up there. More
My experience at the Dave Mungenast Hyundai dealership was exceptional. It started with John Cook contacting me over the internet with an offer to test drive my vehicle of interest. He then gave me all the information I needed, but was pushing me for a decision. He let the quality of their product and initial offer speak for itself. This really made my decision to purchase from this dealership very easy. During the closing of the sale John had to attend to another customer and Charlie Sutton stepped right in to answer any questions I may had and also took the time to go over all the Hyundai Sonata had to offer. Both John and Charlie did a great job for both Dave Mungenast and me. More
I wanted to thank the staff of Dave Mungenast Hyundai for being so nice and working so hard for us. Patrick was our salesman and he was always nice, laid back and fun to be around. Jim(Finance Man)was also very nice, helpful and was able to give us a lot of "helpful" information. He was also able to get us a great interest rate. Trudy Brandt was there for the final financing process and she was great also. She was very helpful, personable, and patient during our whole decision making process. I purchased a pre owned vehicle on Jan. 28,11. A few weeks after my purchased I tried to let my windows down. All worked except one of the rear windows. After not hearing from him I emailed him explaining that one of the windows would not go down and that I wanted to bring the car back so that this could be repaird, after all I had just purchased the vehicle and the window should have been working. I took my car in yesterday 02/24/11. The service person was Matt Fluchel, he must have had a bad morning, because his attitude was ugly. After explaining why I was there, he acted like this is your problem now. But he said that he would need to talk to the manager, THEY REFUSED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. Warning:... If you purchase a vehicle from Dave Mungenast, make sure, very sure that you check everything on the vehicle, I learned the hard way, this company will not MAKE IT RIGHT. Dave Sinclair's moto is IF IT IS NOT RIGHT WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT, and that's where I should have gone to purchase my car. Needless to say I will never recommend this organization. More
I started the process with John Cook via email and John was very straight forward on pricing. I started talking to John on a Friday and was on my way home with my Sonata Limited Turbo the next day. When my wife and I arrived at Mungenast Hyundai we were promptly greeted and when we found that John was with another customer (we came in about 4 hours early than out scheduled appointment so it was understandable) we had the opportunity to work with Ron Payne. Ron was attentive, honest, and did everything right to win our business. I have always had bad experiences buying cars and I went into this deal prepared to do battle but much to my surprise everyone I dealt with was honest, up front and didn't try to pull any fast ones. One of my biggest fears was that I would take a major hit on my trade but, once again I was impressed by the Mungenast Hyundai team. They gave me almost to the dollar what I was looking for. When it came to financing I was certain I wanted to go with my bank as I already had a great deal worked out. Yet, the business manger at Mungenast Hyundai talked me into at-least giving him a shot at beating the deal. I figured what the heck, worse case I fall back to my banks financing. Next thing you know he had us approved at an even LOWER interest rate than my bank. I am seriously the last person that would ever have anything positive to say about the new car buying process but I have to be honest and say Mungenast Hyundai changed my entire perspective on the process, it was truly a pleasure. We plan on buying an Elantra for my wife in two months and without a doubt we'll buy it from Mungenast Hyundai. Thanks again to the team at Mungenast Hyundai for the first time we came away from a new car purchase feeling good about it. More

After an unpleasant experience of dishonesty earlier in the day with another auto dealer, we found Charlie and Trudy to be a breath of fresh air. Arriving at the dealership just a half hour before closing, we completed the deal on the 'perfect car' four hours later! Charlie and Trudy stayed that long, and with smiles on their faces. It made quite an impression on us! More

I had the most wonderful car buying experience this week at Mungenast Hyundai. Patrick Nangle was the young salesman that I dealt with in purchasing my new 2011 Venetian Red Sonata. I felt so at ease working and talking with him. Even after my first encounter with him on Monday, I left feeling like I had known him for years. He has great people skills. And on top of that, he really knows his car stuff. In all the years I've been buying cars, I've never encountered a salesman like him before. I feel and know that I got a really good deal on my car too and that's what really counts. He made the car buying experience so comfortable and easy for me. And what's really strange is I was only at the dealership that day to have an oil change. I had been seriously looking for a new car a few months ago (for a Nissan, Volkswagen, Hyundai), but decided to lay off getting one for another couple of months. Patrick (whom I'd never met or seen before), entered the waiting room where I was sitting and he just started up a conversation with me. He offered to look at my car, run up some numbers on a new car and I didn't even have to leave the waiting room. He's such a go-getter. I've never noticed that before with other salesmen. My experience in buying my Hyundai Sante Fe at Mungenast was the best experience I have had when buying a car. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have friends who went to other dealers and were told to bring their husbands with them and they could test drive a car I felt comfortable negotiating a price.
