Charlie was amazing. I am in central Illinois, about 90 miles away from dealer. I submitted an internet request for a lease quote on a Sonata SE. I received a quote the same day. To be honest I thought th miles away from dealer. I submitted an internet request for a lease quote on a Sonata SE. I received a quote the same day. To be honest I thought the quote was missing something, it was dramatically lower than any other quote I had received from other dealers. Spoke to Charlie on the phone, exchanged several emails, and texts and eventually made the trip to visit Charlie and the dealership. The car was exactly as it appeared online, and the quote was a Grand Slam! No other dealer would touch the offer. This is how car buying should be. Tell me your best price and stick to your quote. Why do dealers feel the need to haggle? Why cant they just go with their best offer? Charlie and Mungenast are changing how car buying is being done. They gave me the best price around and they held firm to it even as the month ended and a new month began. Way to go Charlie and Mungenast. I love my new Hyundai and hope we can work with Charlie again on furture car purchases. I am paying less for this car then I did my smaller trade. Must be the higher residuals of Hyundai. More

I went to the Dean Team to get a 2012 Veloster around the middle of August and I could not get it because the price they offered was too high so I told them the price that I wanted, you know what the manager middle of August and I could not get it because the price they offered was too high so I told them the price that I wanted, you know what the manager said, “I am the one who offer the price, not you. After a month, I visited Mungenast Hyundai and met Charlie Sutton, he was the best seller I have ever met. He was so kind and polite. I gave him the price I wanted and he did not hesitate to ask his manager and helped me to get a 2013 Veloster (WOW). The price I paid for this car was much cheaper than I was offered in Dean Team (it was 2012 Veloster). First time when I read the ratings, I did not believe them because the ratings were so good and no one had any bad experience from Mungenast. BUT all of them were true and I STRONGLY recommend this dealership. PLEASE DO NOT GO ANY OTHER PLACES, it will be wasting your time to go somewhere else. Just go to Mungenast and ask Charlie, he will do anything for you. More
I purchased a used Toyota truck from Mungenast Hyundai. It had about 70,000 miles on it. I purchased an extended warranty, and told the financial guy: "I don't care about the cost, give the top of the lin It had about 70,000 miles on it. I purchased an extended warranty, and told the financial guy: "I don't care about the cost, give the top of the line warranty. All of the bells and whistles. Give me everything that is available." He gave me the top package, but didn't add the "Seals and Gaskets" option, which would have only raised the price by a few dollars. Well, the truck had been severely overheated sometime by the previous owner. This warped both heads and the block and caused a head gasket leak, and therefore a misfire in that cylinder. If the financial guy had included the "Seals and Gaskets" option, the warranty would have covered it and replaced the whole engine at that time, as the block was warped as well. However, I paid $3000 out of pocket for a new head and all of that labor. The work was done at the Mungenast Toyota dealership in Alton, IL. The service manager told me to my face that they had rebuilt the other head, since they had it off anyway. However, they did not include that information on the bill anywhere, so there was no proof that they had touched the other head. By the way, they had the truck for 47 days. Less than 4000 miles later, that rebuilt head dropped a valve and destroyed the block (and head). Since they neglected to put the information regarding the rebuild on the paperwork, the warranty company at that time covered the cost of replacing the entire engine. Therefore, Mungenast didn't have to pay the $10,000 dollars for the new engine. The bigger problem with this is the fact that I was an hour from Tulsa, OK with my 80-year-old father, on our way to his sister's funeral, in July of this year, when it was 110 degrees. We had to pay for a rental car for an entire month while the dealership in Tulsa replaced the engine, then we had to drive back down to Tulsa to pick it up. By the way, the Toyota dealership in Tulsa was phenomenally awesome. Great customer care, great communication, high quality work. Do not use the Mungenast family of dealerships for anything. I will never trust them again. I wouldn't even trust them to air up my tires. I wouldn't even trust them to wash my car. STAY AWAY from any and all MUNGENAST dealers, unless you want to pay inflated prices for substandard work. More

Wow.. Did I just buy a new car??? Yes!! I did and I never realized that I bought a new Hyundai Elantra 2013 model, without any issues or problems. Thanks to kind, Charlie Sutton, who always made business mor realized that I bought a new Hyundai Elantra 2013 model, without any issues or problems. Thanks to kind, Charlie Sutton, who always made business more comfortable. I visited a couple of other dealers in the city and had horrible experiences. And trust me, working with Charlie, without visiting the dealership, or seeing the car, it made me so confident of their service(mainly because of how much Charlie gives importance to customer service/relation). The deal was primarily set up using various telephonic and email conversations. It was way too simple. The car was ready after trading from a different dealer, and there I was at the new Mungenast dealership. Awesome!! is the only word for how the dealership functions and operates. It made me really comfortable to step in with the deal for my First new car. It gave me good positive vibes before I sat in and pressed the gas pedal. Thanks a lot to Charlie, Matt Means and Mungenast. I am extremely happy to have a business with you. :) :D More
