In the 2 years I have owned this car I have had a few very frustrating service occurrences with this dealership. My most recent service encounter was no different. I hit a large pothole on 2/11 that immediately caused my car to shake so I knew I had done some damage. I called the dealership, and they could not get me an appointment for over a month. But they did tell me I could drop to car off and they would try to work it in. I have a Genesis and was promised world class care and concierge service as a selling point. I am told most of the time by this service department that they have no cars to offer me and no one to come pick up my car. So, I brought the car to the dealership on Monday 2/13 and left it with them. For the next 3 weeks the only updates I got was when I called to find out what was going on. I was eventually told my car had 2 bent rims and needed 2 new tires. I was told that the rims must be repaired, not replaced, as a condition of my warranty. I was also told, after the car had been there over a week that the rims would be fixed on Wednesday 2/22. That date came and went and again, no call. I called again on Friday 2/24 only to hear that I must have been told incorrectly and that it would be done the following week sometime. During the week of 2/26 I, again, received no calls until Friday only to be told the car needed an alignment too but that they would take care of that and that my car would be ready on Saturday 3/1. I got another call back later on that Friday to tell me the dealership could only do alignments on cars 2020 or older and that I was on my own to find someone else to do it. I picked the car up on Saturday 3/1 after 3 weeks to diagnose and fix 2 bent rims and replace the tires. The length of time this took and the lack of communication from this service department is, unfortunately, standard operating procedure, but extremely frustrating. More
