Our vacation plans for August 2026 were cancelled 2X because of illness and were rescheduled for a third time. However, the oil warning light came on in our Genesis GV80 and was due for the first servi because of illness and were rescheduled for a third time. However, the oil warning light came on in our Genesis GV80 and was due for the first service at Genesis of Albany in NY. We were offered a loaner car that was delivered to us in Vermont. Our car was not going to be ready for our departure date but Jill Boomhower arranged for us to use the loaner car for 2 weeks! It enabled us to leave on time for our hotel in NY and then on to Maryland to visit our new granddaughter. Thanks to Jill our vacation was FINALLY ON! Our deepest gratitude goes to Jill and Dave Crist. Dave sold us our Genesis and was also involved with saving our vacation plans. This dealership treasures their customers and treats them like family. We didn’t just buy a car. Jill and Dave welcomed us into their family. The whole experience was incredible. “Well done,” Jill! Dave is much more than a salesman. He is a caring and great friend. McGovern Genesis of Albany is truly THE BEST!! PS: Thanks to the guys in the service department and to Paul and Lenny who delivered our loaner from Albany to Vermont and brought our car back. I had my first 8,000 car service for my GV70 from Genesis of Albany. It was the best service experience of my life. I was eligible for concierge service and called in advance to schedule it. At 8:00 am they called me to tell me they were on their way. They also emailed and texted me. The picked up my car and left me with a Brandee loaner, which I never used. They texted me when they got to the shop. They called at 11:00 and suggested an inspection while I was there, which I agreed. At 1:00 pm they called and told me they were done and on their way to drop off my car. They exchanged cars with me at around 1:45. It was absolutely seamless, they were in constant communication and I couldn’t be happier. They also washed my car! More

I recently purchased a very gently used 2026 Genesis GV70 practically over the phone 2 hrs away. My experience could have not been better with Chris, Ashley and Mike. Ashley jumped in and did more than her role required, Chris came in on his day off and soent numerous hours with me to make sure i feel comfortable with the technology, and Mike had done a fabulous job with the paperwork, which took all but 5 min to complete. Worst car buying experience ever. It's been a month and still no registration, all we get is contradicting statement from the manager. I will avoid doing business with McGovern Auto Group at any location after this. They should be ashamed of themselves for doing business this way. And I'm sorry but telling us that you went on vacation and didn't have anyone else take care of it is probably the most unprofessional excuse ever. More
