From the moment I arrive to the moment I leave I am always very pleased with the level of service I receive at Genesis of Albany. We were interested in a GV 80 a few months ago and met Farhan our salesperson who was very nice and very informative . I’m very disappointed in the service that I received yesterday. I made an appt for 9:30 to get my tires rotated and oil changed. I arrived at the dealership at 9;20 and didn’t leave until 12;05. It t yesterday. I made an appt for 9:30 to get my tires rotated and oil changed. I arrived at the dealership at 9;20 and didn’t leave until 12;05. It took forever. I witnessed a customer come in and request an inspection on his vehicle. He was told that he’d have to wait because they were busy and he did not have an appt. He got some cash out of his pocket and boom he was being serviced and out the door in 15 minutes. I saw him had the cash to the service technician. Meanwhile I’m sitting there for an hour, two hours and I ask Jill for the status of my car. Her response was “sorry we’re backed up it's going to be a little longer. Finally the technician came out and nodded to me and placed my keys on Jill’s desk. Jill was no where to be found. I asked the other employee to please check me out. Her response was “I can’t, you have to wait for Jill”. Fifteen minutes later Jill returns to her’desk. No explanation. I then voiced my displeasure with the length of time that it took to change my oil and rotates the tires (over 2 1/2 hours). She told me she was sorry but they were backed up. I then mentioned the guy who got his car inspected. She said ‘we have to take them, it’s New York State law.” That’s not.true, they have to wait just like everyone else. She then said I have coupon that I can apply to take $30 off for your inconvenience. I bought my Genesis G90 at Garvey Genesis. I was always treated fairlly,and promptly. More
