The owner Rusty after several attempts to contact never returned a single phone call or Email. The sales manager Randy Phillips made many promises to make the situation right as we bought the car at that dealer and did not uphold his promises either. The service manager Steve seemed like one of the good guys through the whole thing but at the end showed his true colors as well and lied on multiple occasions and with held repair information from many. Even went as far as to delete DTC codes that were stored the same day they forced us to pick up the unrepaired vehicle, and attempted to keep the fact that the codes were stored from the service reporting. Finally the situation had to be handed over to an attorney for lemon law and buy back. Even though the vehicle is unrepaired I was forced to take it back and return the loaner. When picking up my unrepaired Fiat I quickly realized whomever they let drive the car smoked in it enough that the car reeks of cigarette smoke. I am severely asthmatic so at this point I can't even sit in the vehicle. Also they broke the lock and pieces around the lock on the trunk door. When I called they knew it was broken and openly admitted that their porter broke it while cleaning the car., they didn't attempt to fix it order a new handle and didn't have the respect to tell me about it until I noticed it on my own. They said they would replace it and ordered the part even set up a repair date. Shortly after setting up the repair they called and lied saying the part was on back order and that they were booked with appointments and couldn't get us in the schedule to repair it. They sated because I gave them a bad review they didn't want to repair the handle they broke. The handle costs over $300 and is not warrantied anywhere else because they broke it. I had to get customer care involved to call them and make them agree to set a date to repair the handle. This has been an awful situation without any ethics or respect on the dealerships part.. they made lots of promises to make this right yet showed NO value in us as their customer!! Never trust this dealer to purchase or service your vehicle, now we wait out the legal battle ahead.. More

That all changed after we had an oil change done at Lakeside Fiat. The service manager Steve Witinko is amazing and offers unparalleled customer service. What a difference! We now bring all of our vehicles to Steve and recommend him to everyone we know. I hope you are taking good care of Steve, Fiat, because with service that good, he seems destined for bigger things. If he moves to another dealership we would definitely go with him. Keep our guy happy. We love seeing his smiling face every time we come. More

He told me it would be $30 to diagnose why my Bluetooth was not wor Called Fiat of Lakeside, spoke with Steve (who I assume is the service manager). He told me it would be $30 to diagnose why my Bluetooth was not working. Came in that day. Steve took my car and about a half hour later told me that I would be $400 to fix my Bluetooth. I told him that was too much and that I would pay the $30 diagnostic fee. About 20 minutes later, Steve told me that I was all set. As I was paying the diagnostic fee, Steve told me that I should get my door handle fixed. I said "what is wrong with it". He said: "I saw you playing with it, so you must have known it was broke". I said, "no it was not". Steve said, "you will need to get it fixed soon". I had really no idea what he was talking about. When I went out to the car, I then found out what he was talking about. Whoever had driven my car, had taken liberties to move the seat as well as pull on the drivers outer door handle so hard, that they broke it. It is held on by 2 hinges (one in the front and 1 in the back). What they had done is cracked the casting on the front hinge. I usually try to go to the dealer, because they are more reputable and do not try to play dirty tricks of sabotaging your car, if they do not get enough money out of you. Obviously this is not the case with Fiat of Lakeside. More

They also took care of other TSB issues I was not aware of and covered other issues under the extended warranty at no cost to customer. This is the best dealership I have ever dealt with. I will definitely purchase my next Fiat from them. More

The work performed is done quick and of the highest quality. The only issue I have is that their Dodge service is limited due to their restrictions on ordering some of the Dodge parts. I dread the day I have to take my vehicle anywhere else for work. More

I have been going to this particular dealership for service since it was a Saturn dealership many years ago, and I have always been extremely happy with them. Steve is a fantastic service manager, who service since it was a Saturn dealership many years ago, and I have always been extremely happy with them. Steve is a fantastic service manager, who explains everything, goes out of his way to be helpful, and keeps in contact with the customer about their car's needs and the availablity of parts. Joe, who sold me my Fiat, makes a point of stopping by and asking about my car every time I'm in. Both Steve and Joe are great assets to the dealership. I would- and have, in fact- recommend Fiat of Lakeside to anyone who's looking for a new vehicle or service for their existing one. More
