We have been researching vehicles to replace my KIA Sportage. It was front wheel drive and I wanted to get something that was at least all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. After looking on line at different SUV's, I decided I needed to start test driving with the first choice a Jeep Grand Cherokee and possibly a Durango. We live up by Sioux City, Iowa and chose Gene Steffy because they treated our son great when he purchased his first vehicle, a Dodge Ram truck. We decided to give Fred Cappellano the first shot at our business and we were not disappointed. He worked with Ryan to get a special incentive with his purchase to make it affordable for a young fire fighter/paramedic just starting a new job. After test driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Fred also informed us that there were a couple of 2013 Durango's still available on clearance. We were open to test driving that as well. The sales and finance experience was as haggle and stress free as I have ever had. I drove in with a KIA in the afternoon and drove out of the lot with a Dodge Durango later that afternoon! I was greeted with a friendly smile and handshake. I was asked what I needed done to my car and the service representative seen to getting my car needs taken care of immediately. I asked if they could get it all done in an hour and they were able to do it in about 30 minutes. The service representative took it upon himself to ensure my oil change light was reset properly. It was washed and cleaned very well. Thanks!!!! More

We were very impressed with the service we received at Gene Steffy in Fremont, purchasing our first minivan for our growing family. It was freezing cold out, so the vehicle was pulled into the shop to let us check it out and inspect it while staying warm. Brandon was there to answer all of our questions. When it came time to make the deal, he was very easy to work with and made sure that we were comfortable and gave us the time and space needed to also talk amongst ourselves. He knew we were a bit concerned about having a vehicle with children and not having the luxury of leather seats, so he made sure we knew about a protectant they would be able to apply to keep them from staining over the years. Absolutely no pressure. Lastly in financing, Kathy handled all the paperwork for us. She was so very friendly and welcoming as well. She also made us aware of additional protection and warranties we could purchase, with no pressure also. You can tell she's been taking care of their guests financing awhile, as she seemed to be able to have everything prepared in a very timely manner. It was a wonderful experience that we've already begun to share with our friends and family. They definitely know how to treat their customers. More
Follow up: I am adding to the below review as I have Follow up: I am adding to the below review as I have since spoken to both Pat Prokupek, Fixed Operations Director and Tim Hoshor, the General Manag Follow up: I am adding to the below review as I have since spoken to both Pat Prokupek, Fixed Operations Director and Tim Hoshor, the General Manager of this dealership. Both Pat and Tim were professional at all times and could not apologize enough for the experience I had and the service I received with this visit. I was assured by both this was not the norm for daily operations in this service department. Both related they addressed the issue with their Service Consultant and I received four free (unsolicited), oil changes from Pat to be used at any Jeep Dealer/Service Center of my choice. I adjusted/raised the Customer Service; Friendliness; and Overall Experience marks, from a previous 1 to what they are currently, solely from the professionalism displayed by both Pat Prokupek, Fixed Operations Director and Tim Hoshor, the General Manager of this dealership. 1st Service: I took my vehicle in for a routine service (oil change & tire rotation). I received my vehicle back in a timely manner and was on my way. About an hour later I decided to check the dealers work and discovered my tires had not been rotated. I had marked the front drivers side tire prior to the service. I was a little disappointed, but mistakes happen, so I returned to the dealership to have the paid for service completed correctly. I arrived and let the Service Consultant Roby Degli-Esposti know the tire rotation had not been completed. I was immediately told by Mr. Degli-Esposti that it WAS completed and he watched it being completed. I asked him if he thought I was lying about it and he again stated that he watched them rotate the tires. I then related to Mr. Degli-Esposti that I had marked the front drivers side tire prior to coming in for service, which he seemed very surprised. Then to make matters worse, Mr. Degli-Esposti, changed his lie to "well I did watch them rotate the passenger side tires". I asked him if it was common practice by them to only rotate one side of the vehicle. He then changed his lie to, the reason all the tires were not rotated was due to the fact the rear tires had more tread. We'll it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know the reason you rotate the tires, is the front wear faster than the rear due to steering. After being lied to and having Mr. Degli-Espost infer I was lying to him, I asked Mr. Degli-Esposti if he would just have the service completed that I had already paid for. More
Very friendly staff met me as I entered. I was introduced to Ed Steffy to assist me as I was looking for a newer used Town and Country. Very helpful before and after my decision to purchase. Brian was very patient with us as we were traveling out of town quite often after we first contacted him about possibly buying a Grand Cherokee. I appreciate the fact that he did not keep contacting us wh of town quite often after we first contacted him about possibly buying a Grand Cherokee. I appreciate the fact that he did not keep contacting us while were were out of town. We are very satisfied with our purchasing experience. There was never any hard sell type tactics at anytime. We have experienced this type of pressure sell at other dealerships in the past. Rest assured that we will never do business with a dealership that tries these type of selling tactics. We did look at a couple of dealers out of town to get some pricing on the same vehicle. We wanted to purchase our Jeep from Gene Steffy as we have known him and his wife for years. More
