Something's wrong at Gebhardt I bought a new 2017 330xi at Gebhardt, but once the deal was signed everything went downhill. I put 90% of the blame on one person, my salesman, but other things suggest this dealership needs help. As far as the salesman, initials J.S., he got my signature on the deal and the next day became a stranger--no, an inhospitable jerk. Seriously, coming into the dealership the next day to work out financing details with Alicia (nice person), I got no handshake from him, cryptic responses, and an overall icy demeanor. It was so profound that even my wife detected it (she was not part of the previous day's negotiations, which went smoothly and cordially with J.S. . . . until he was "done with me"). Sale made, move on, sucker. Very, very bad taste in my mouth. Part of the deal was that J.S. promised to deliver my car to my home in Steamboat Springs the following week. He didn't follow up with this (which is okay, since his sales manager did, who told me I'd get a confirmation call before they left Boulder). The day of delivery arrived, no call. I called them, asking for this same sales manager, who is now "no longer with us." Eventually I learned the car was being driven up to me as we spoke, ETA unknown. Eventually "Jim" (driver) calls me when in Kremmling for further directions. Fine. Actually relieved it wasn't J.S. as promised, but that's another bit of J.S.'s B.S. So with this very distasteful experience with J.S.--not just that he was less friendly (I wasn't there for friendship) but that he was palpably hostile for what reason I do not know--and small promises by him and soon-to-be-history sales manager unfulfilled, I say again: Something's Wrong At Gebhardt. I had an awful experience with a Repair Service guy there some years ago (I've owned several Beemers) whose name I forgot, and this was my first venture back to Gebhardt. I did not let that 8 year-old event color my thinking, obviously, since I went there to buy. But this one was even a worse experience. I like a dealership where staff do well by customers, you see familiar faces upon return, and they (staff) seem to have found a home. But even Alicia, the finance person, is not listed in this website (see below) as part of their finance group, which suggests a lot of turnover. On another note, the new sales manager, John, seems on the phone to be a nice guy, and my brief encounter with Thomas, the resident new-car "genius" (a nice service, which I do expect to take advantage of when next in Boulder) went well. I don't want to sully John or Thomas or others within the Gebhardt team, but I do want to make others aware of my experience. It was not a pleasant one, and my warranty work will certainly not be with Gebhardt. Richard B More

Bought my car at Schomp, never again. Bought my car at Schomp for some crazy reason. was given a quick 10 minute tutorial on the systems in the car and told that i would use anything else. Mostly happy Wade was very friendly, but a little dishonest when offering us 0% financing. Gebhardt's genius bar is easy to access and I found that Maria Hittle a resident genius is skilled at the system and able to walk you through your software problem quickly either by phone or in person.
