A very nice experience having my vehicle work on. Everyone was very nice, not like some of the garages I used to go to have my truck worked on. Everyone was very nice, not like some of the garages I used to go to have my truck worked on. More
I called Mathews first for an appointment to have my coolant flushed on my 2002 impala they wanted $300, then I called Gault and they said $175 I made an appointment with them. I received a call from t coolant flushed on my 2002 impala they wanted $300, then I called Gault and they said $175 I made an appointment with them. I received a call from them telling me it could not be flushed someone must have added the wrong coolant and I would need to replace the radiator, pump, thermostat etc. the cost would be over $1700. I decided to take it to New York Radiator in Binghamton. They just flushed it added new coolant charged me $100 plus tax and the car is fine. If you want to get ripped off go to the dealership your choice. More

Our car was stalling so we took it into the service dep Beware! This is the second time we have been misled, and we are totally disgusted with Gault. Our car was stalling so we took it into the service department. We were told our car needed a timing chain and there was also a code telling them there was a problem with the camshaft. Total cost would be $1,716.73. Since our engine was running very smooth, we highly doubted that was the problem. We decided to take it to the garage that we have used in the past. They listened to our car and told us that there was no way it was the timing chain. They checked it out and found they needed to replace the camshaft solenoid for a total of $189.54. Our car is now running fine with no problems. More
Do NOT go for any repairs! We continue to receive bills for repairs not made, after returning vehicle to them 3 times! Very unethical. Gault is not what it once was. They need to get mechanics that know for repairs not made, after returning vehicle to them 3 times! Very unethical. Gault is not what it once was. They need to get mechanics that know to repair their vehicles. No stars! We have all documentation, so be sure to save paperwork if you choose to visit. More

"Sir Ricky" the Rockstar!! I have bought several new vehicles over the years, in fact have purchased 2 at Gault in the past 6 months. Ricky C is absolutely the best salesperson I have bought several new vehicles over the years, in fact have purchased 2 at Gault in the past 6 months. Ricky C is absolutely the best salesperson I have ever worked with! I will make sure that I look for him the next time my family needs a new vehicle. Nick T in the service department is also a superstar. He's always pleasant and positive and does the absolute best he can to meet your needs. Jim in finance was also extremely knowledgeable, helpful and easy to work with! I would recommend the Team at Gault Chevrolet to anyone looking for a positive experience. More
Last Straw After nearly 13 years of being a loyal customer and having all our service done at Gault; their thanks to us was to make up some new rule, or enforce After nearly 13 years of being a loyal customer and having all our service done at Gault; their thanks to us was to make up some new rule, or enforce some old rule that we were never informed about and was never an issue in the past, and refuse to honor their commitment (tires for LIFE) to us? And this after we continued to take our vehicle there even though they charged us over $1600.00 for two failed attempts to solve the check engine light, that is still on to this day. This also after they broke one of the pressure sensors during another tires for LIFE service session, and refused to fix it. And also after they tried to pass off Cooper tires on us every time we took the vehicle in for tires for LIFE, rather than the Michelin tires that the deal was for. (Even going so far, one time, as to put the Coopers on, then tell us we had to bring the car back two days later to get the proper tires on.) And also after failing to remove the old oil filter gasket during an oil change, which caused a massive leak and required me to fix it myself along side a road. I would also add that this vehicle was in for tires for LIFE (and an oil change) few months ago, and we were told that the tires weren't (quite) ready yet. This would have been a good time for them to have mentioned an alignment being needed; not that we didn't ALWAYS say "and anything else that may be due for the tires for LIFE program" every time we took it in. I grew up with a car salesman for a father, and his favorite saying was that "a salesman can sell the first car, but it is the service department that will sell", (or not), "all the others.) Interestingly, we are actually in the market for a new truck; can you guess where we absolutely will NOT be looking? More
