Pathetic service and service dept. It was a horrible experience. I found a 2011 Certified 4Runner and flew from Arkansas to New York. Their 160 point checklist was a joke. The car I It was a horrible experience. I found a 2011 Certified 4Runner and flew from Arkansas to New York. Their 160 point checklist was a joke. The car I came in to buy wasn't ready (cross bars and mud flaps ordered that I confirmed were installed on Friday, weren't on) and took 1 hour. The first test drive we got 1/2 block on the "certified" 2011. It had clunking noise which became a 3 hour brake repair. During this 3 hour repair I found a $3500 body repair on the "non-wrecked" and "clean" car-fax report. The repair had been done at the dealership which is inexcusable. The next test drive (I was sent out alone, which is ludicrous after everything that's occurred) and within 2 blocks, I heard a humming come from the rear. The mechanic went out with me and heard it also. After over 2 more hours, determined it needs a new rear end. No parts to complete repair within a reasonable distance. Ultimately I was forced into a 2015 which wasn't what I had budgeted for. Their take will be that they made a concession in the price to 30,000 and while I respect that, I didn't want a new vehicle for multiple reasons and spent 8000 more than the 2011 I budgeted for. I was told the running boards, which were a must have from the first call, couldn't get done because the accessory installer had already left. I even listed it on the paper for what was still due. No follow up from the dealership. I called 2 weeks later, was referred to GM. I called last week to follow up, spoke with Shawn and he promised a call that afternoon. It took 6 days and a call to Toyota corporate to get a call back. One of the comments made was that the tech who checked it out wasn't there any longer. I really don't care. If he did shoddy work, then recheck everything he touched. There was no reason for the dealership to not know about the wreck. I was in the showroom from 9:30a until almost 8p. Lack of follow up by GM and salesman to ensure parts had been installed properly. I specifically asked if he had had this vehicle out and everything worked properly. It was a horrible experience to someone who came in as a loyal Toyota owner. Moral: Buy somewhere else (but run, don't walk). More
Consistently Excellent I bought my first Toyota in 2006. Rav4. We (my daughter and I ) were treated with respect and even were allowed to bring my Golden for a test drive on a rainy nasty day. (Suburu wouldn't let me bring the dog...!) I've used their service dept. and bought 2 more vehicles with them and ALWAYS have been treated with professionalism and friendship. (They even remember the dog!) Nice people, good service and the cleanest, best run Service Dept. I have ever seen! More

I looked at many different vehicles at a few dealerships in town. From the first second I walked in to Gault Toyota I felt at home. Everyone was friendly and my salesman Dave helped me find the perfect vehicle. The Toyota Venza. They gave me a great trade in on my current Camry and spent extra time with my wife and I to go over the new car. The dealership was also very clean and they even had a the car inside covered when I picked it up. From now on I will be buying all my vehicles from Gault. More

They do the lowest quality repair work I have seen. I had to visit them three times for a leaky tire, on a vehicle that I bought from them. They were even selling it with the tire sitting flat. It looks to me they are taking advantage of old people, and they treated me like like I could be fulled on any matter regarding the work that they did on the vehicle. More
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I brought my 2014 Toyota Corolla in to have a screw taken out of my tire, and have the tire patched. After calling and being told to come right down a I brought my 2014 Toyota Corolla in to have a screw taken out of my tire, and have the tire patched. After calling and being told to come right down and we will get you right in, the women in the service center told me my appointment was the next day, and she woukd see if they could fit me in. After figuring out I had been told to come in she kneeled down next to my tire with me and visually saw the screw and told me "its a screw in the top of your tire we can patch it." Confirming there was a screw I left and returned to work, just to receive a call an hour later. It was the Gault Toyota service center telling me they had found an "Allen wrench" that had punctured my tire and that the whole was to big and could not be plugged or patched. I left work and returned to Gault Toyota to visually re inspect my tire. Upon entering the service center I inquired as to how myself and the employee had both seen a screw and now there was an allen wrench. The same employee that told me she also saw a screw and that my tire coukd be patched was now lying and telling her boss she had never said that to me. After calling her out and trying to talk to the gentleman working with her, who did not make eye contact with me once, I asked to speak to a sales manager. I explained to him that for the four months I had owned the car I had called my Salesperson 6 times and had not heard back onc,I had been lied to by a employee, and disrespected by the gentleman who could not make eye contact with me, he simply said he was sorry and that there was nothing he could do. At this point I asked to speak with the owner of the business Connie Gault who was in a meeting with Toyota. When I told the sales manager that I was extremely familiar with Toyota, and there practice of Kaizen which is a focus on customer service, and quality control the sales manager became very nervous looking. He left and returned a few moments later with the Owners husband Bob Gault who I went threw bit by bit all the terrible customer service I had received. His answer for me was "as far as ypoor salesman not returning your call im sorry. And as far as the gentleman not looking you in the eye, I apologize. But as far as you telling me the women lied to you I DONT CARE." Not something you expect to hear from the owner of a fairly reputable business. Needless to say this dealership is doing some shifty, things lying, and trying to paella a tire, and treating me like im a liar instead of the employee who actually lied! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM GAULT TOYOTA YOU WILL NOT LOVE THE FEEL OF YOUR GAULT TOYOTA DEAL. More
