My car's transmission was broken (because private dealership was a liar and did not tell me about the car had a bad trans) and obviously I need to fix it. First, I went to private mechanic place but dealership was a liar and did not tell me about the car had a bad trans) and obviously I need to fix it. First, I went to private mechanic place but still he could not find out whats the problem with so I brought my car to dealership(which is Gaudin Ford). and well, he looked nice and friendly but he brought a topic of payment plan and I had to deal with it. So I paid for it, and done. However, my car's performance became bad, lost a power than before I fixed it. It is like even though I hit my gas pedal all way up to but the response of shifting gear up got slower than before. So far It didn't have problem on DRIVING so I did not worry about it. Then guess what happened after a year and half later, my transmission got broken again. So I brought my car back again with a receipt of transmission but one thing it was strange was, on the receipt I got did not say anything on warranty but I was assuming that there was it so I went there. and I checked a computer with different guy and it surprised me; the warranty has been expired within 3000 miles after I fixed transmission (well, how does a transmission break down within 3000 miles???? Are they doing their job??) and I heard it was exchanging a transmission with new one on phone call but it was rebuilt. Well, it shocked me because this guy took advantage on me that I did not know anything about cars, he thought it would be nice chance to get some cash and he also thought I would not care whether he told me any details about warranty and how it was fixed or not. I am really disappointed what he has done on work on my car. Now I waist my $2500, even though I have pay for school and I am sure I would never be back here to fix my vehicle again at here. Obviously, what I had on my customer experience was, he did not tell me anything about how it has been fixed, what a warranty was, and he took advantage on the point of I did not know anything about a car. So, what I can suggest is, it is better to go local mechanic place to fix a part not only about transmission but it is also about in any parts like engines, sensors, plugs or anything. Because local mechanic place knows better about the parts that has more performance than manufacture parts that is same costs. This place is just wasting money, liar, breaking or giving low quality of parts to keep bringing back customers again and again. More

I was involved in an accident and was able to request where my car went so I asked for it to be taken the Gaudin Ford, as I had work done there previously and it turned out well. Unfortunately this time where my car went so I asked for it to be taken the Gaudin Ford, as I had work done there previously and it turned out well. Unfortunately this time was not the case, after having been told that the hood for my car was on back order I would be able to get a hood for a higher package (GT) instead of the one that came with my car, so I agreed that doing so would be acceptable. Unfortunately after trying to order that hood, I can only assume it wasn't available either. I got calls along the way, a hood for a 2011 is not available, nor 2012, nor 2008, etc. Eventually in turned in to my car being in the shop for 42 days, all held up because of a hood. I finally got a call before Thanksgiving from Chris Duell that my car was available to be picked up and I could come get it any time I'd like. The same day I received another call from Chris and a voice mail stating that the car is ready to be picked up but, they haven't received a guarantee of payment from the Insurance company so they cannot release my car. I called Chris back and asked him what was going on, he told me again that he could not release the car and that he would get back to me if he heard anything back from the Insurance company. That was on Tuesday, I still had not heard back from him by the following Monday, so I called Gaudin myself and they said my car was available since last week and I should have picked it up then, to which I told them I received a voice mail the previous Tuesday that my car was ready but that I could not come pick it up. Chris said that he never had that conversation with me and I told him that I still had the voice mail on my phone of him stating that. I finally went to pick up my car, on the 42nd day of it being in the body shop and went to return my rental car, and they told me that since the body shop said my car was done a week before, I would have to pay the difference in the rental period (1 week). I called the insurance company, played them the voice mail of Chris stating the car was available but I couldn't pick it up and they eventually paid for it. I was at that point, very, very tired of dealing with Chris and Gaudin ford, but when I took my car out the next weekend, my hood wasn't aligned properly, so I had to drive the 40+ miles from my house to Gaudin Ford for them to fix that again, very irritating considering they had the car for 42 days, you'd think they'd be able to get it right in that period of time. After driving my car for less than 300 miles since the work was done, the Mustang emblem on the grill fell off, I called back again to state that more problems happened, Chris said "Those things fall off all the time, come in and we'll give you a new one." So now I have to drive another 40+ miles from my house back to Gaudin to get another emblem placed on my car. I am very tired of dealing with Gaudin, and Chris and will not be returning to Gaudin Ford fo anything. More
