Had the worst experience ever here. The price listed on the internet was $18995, but when I got there, they told me it was $22,995. Bought a Patriot from Barbara. Had a great experience. She was very friendly and not pushy at all. I drove 70 miles to purchase my Jeep from her. I highly recommend this dealership. Ask for Barbara! I started looking for my new 2011 Grand Cherokee at my local dealership in Vero Beach, but they were giving me the run around and could not produce the vehicle I wanted. Barbara not only got the car I wanted but worked out a much better deal for me. She was very friendly and easy to work with, not like the pushy "blow hard" at the other place. She got all the accessories I wanted and had the car preped, ready and waiting when I got there. I had to drive out of my way to make the deal, but it was well worth the drive. I would recommend Barbara and Gator Automotive to everyone. More
I would like to start off by saying that I am extremely happy with my recent purchase of a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman model. I had been browsing the internet and even going to my local dealership in O happy with my recent purchase of a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman model. I had been browsing the internet and even going to my local dealership in Orlando, Florida to test drive the new 2011’s. I was not having any luck. I had even begged other dealerships in my area to appraise my trade in (2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4) and answer a few small questions. It seemed as if they were all about getting me into their dealerships or in some cases not responding to my emails. This last week (February 10, 2011) when I came across the internet sales department at Gator Chrysler Dodge Barbara was right there with me from the very beginning. All of my questions were answered and she was there to greet me a few days later in person when my schedule allowed me to make the trip to Melbourne. Upon arrival the dealership was clean and very professional. I was not bombarded by new recruits (salesmen that just did their two week sales class in tacky suits and ties). This atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. It is more for your hard working man or woman who doesn’t want the BS; they just want to buy a new truck! After an excellent walk through of any inventory that I may have not been aware of I went for a very relaxed test drive along the water in the Ram that I had been looking for online. It was exactly what I was looking for and the price was around my price range. Once back I went over a few discounts and rebates that I did not have to ask for. One of these was a Military discount that Barbara remembered that I had mentioned my Service in the US Marine Corps. After a little bit of negotiating and running some numbers that I couldn’t believe that they were still looking to get me a lower price I settled with the exact monthly payment I was looking to close on. Final Thoughts: I give Gator Chrysler Dodge 11 out of 10, 5 stars, how ever you want to put it! They had excellent service. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and professional. All of the employees, managers, salespeople were helpful along the way. There was no pressure to make a purchase unlike the large dealerships in Orlando where I had looked previously. I felt like a friend more than a customer. I would recommend Gator to anyone on the market for a vehicle. I drove the extra 75 miles and would do it again if I could. More

They were all being pushy, aggressive, and were charging an outrageous addendum. We were a bit frustrated and discouraged, but we began to call around. Barbara answered our e-mails right away and was on the phone with us the next day. Throughout the process she was friendly, helpful and only a phone call away. At no time did she make us feel uncomfortable, in fact it was like she had been our friend for years. We were so happy that we found the car and a great salesperson that we drove three hours to Melbourne to pick up the vehicle. I recommend Gator to everyone, but make sure you visit Barbara Scholten, she is THE BEST! More
