I requested a price for a jeep without a price! You sent me junk mail of twenty or so vehicles with prices and then you send the vehicle that i requested without the price listed. The worst thin You sent me junk mail of twenty or so vehicles with prices and then you send the vehicle that i requested without the price listed. The worst thing is you leave contact information for me to waste a bunch of time to get the price on this one vehicle so i can just move on to the next when i find out it is listed too high for what i want. So now i just stop using this websight for car shopping. I know by contacting it i will have to deal with a whole lot of sales talk. So thanks a lot for giving me a price on every thing but what i wanted. More
My wife and I are purchasing a new Durango and Jeep Cherokee. For the past 10 years, we buy new about every 2 years and during this time, I shop on the internet and make a deal via email. I agree upon Cherokee. For the past 10 years, we buy new about every 2 years and during this time, I shop on the internet and make a deal via email. I agree upon a price and a value for my trade in and once that is finalized, I go to the dealer and they look at my trade in to make sure it is as I say it is. Deal done. No wasted time playing dealer sales games, just a simple cut and dried sales process. I was shopping with 4 dealers today. I had no issues with 3 of the 4. They gave me their best price. Easy. Simple. I get an email response from Jutta Becker at Gator and was told if I wanted a best price I had to come in and meet with the sales manager. I responded back and said if you can’t give me your best price, I’ll move on to other dealers. I received no response back. Is this seriously how Gator sells vehicles?!? lol I guess I should say it’s how they DO NOT sell vehicles. I’ve been buying this way for 10 years at least and never had a dealer refuse to give me their best price via email. NEVER. Some real sales geniuses at Gator. Maybe these people have lived under a rock for the past year and a half but there is a virus out there and people don’t take chances they don’t need to. Bottom line, I took the best deal from the other 3 and my wife and I will be buying a new Jeep and Durango first think in the morning. It won’t be from Gator! What a joke. More
They reprogrammed my skimmer when I had a new key made. Took them 6 days to get me the new key in working order. My old keys were rendered worthless . They accept no responsibility for the old keys being wiped out. The only response is they are old and damaged and we don’t know if they worked in the first place. Mark Hargreaves is the manager who refused to do anything except give worthless excuses why they can’t program my key fob that worked when I brought it in More
I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone, they are very shady with their negotiating and pretend that they can't give you all of the numbers prior to going back to sign paperwork with the financial departm shady with their negotiating and pretend that they can't give you all of the numbers prior to going back to sign paperwork with the financial department. They have a "my way or the highway" mindset. There isn't any negotiating with these people the price you see on the window is what they will want you to pay. They will pay you way under the value for your trade-in. I've been to many different dealerships and I have never been treated the way treated us. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Since the Sales Manager (Jim Peacock) told me to go “self-reflect,” I’m going to do that here. (1) We went to purchase a Blue Durango and dealt with Jackson. We negotiated back & Peacock) told me to go “self-reflect,” I’m going to do that here. (1) We went to purchase a Blue Durango and dealt with Jackson. We negotiated back & forth without an issue. I made it clear during every step that I didn’t want any pricing contingent on financing, because I wasn’t going to be financing with them. He gave me their final best price and we left to think about it. I reached out the next day (purely by text) and that is when the bait and switch happened. Suddenly the best price WAS contingent on financing. I didn’t appreciate the misrepresentation so I went back to the dealer, spoke to a manager, and requested that I work with someone else. I started working with Ed. Unfortunately, the car was sold before my bank could wrap up the financing. (2) A week later I went back to Ed to see if I could get the same deal for a Red Durango, identical specs. At first, I was told YES and we were just working out how to make it happen quick (because they wouldn’t hold the vehicle for me while I got financing completed). All of these communications were by text. Suddenly, two days later, I was told they would NOT be selling me the car for the same price. No reason given. I text Ed and thanked him for his patience but told him I was disappointed in the experience. (3) Over a week and half later, my husband went to the dealer to try again for the Red Durango. At first, they said they couldn’t do the same deal because it wasn’t the same car. That was a LIE. We showed them the picture of the Blue Durango’s window sticker compared to the Red Durango’s window sticker, identical specs and identical MSRP. FINALLY, the sales Manager Jim Peacock came out and ADMITTED that they just didn’t want to sell us the car that cheap (as the first deal we had secured). Fair enough. I can respect that. We negotiated a new deal and left to get our financing in order. Two days later I get a voicemail from Jim saying they wouldn’t be able to accept our bank’s check. I called and was told that they wouldn’t be selling me the car but didn’t want to put the real reason in the voicemail (which is silly considering I now have a recording of this phone call). Jim said they were not going to sell me the car because of something I supposedly did/said to the original sales guy, Jackson, 3 weeks prior (and two car deals prior). Completely blind-sided, I offered to show all my text communications with BOTH salesmen but he didn’t care. I asked what I supposedly did but he would not tell me and instead told me to go “self-reflect.” My conscious is clear. I was never rude, disrespectful, nor inappropriate at any point or to anyone! I would respect this dealer more if they just admitted they wanted to make more money off the car. This was a stressful, heartbreaking, and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t return to them even if they were the last Dodge dealer in Florida. More
BEWARE! DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! The Sales team over at Gator Jeep are sneaky and dishonest. Not only did my mother get a quote better than they gave her, they said they would honor it and did not. over at Gator Jeep are sneaky and dishonest. Not only did my mother get a quote better than they gave her, they said they would honor it and did not. Not only did they not honor the quote she received they also didn't honor the quote they gave her in person! While in the financing office they continued to speak to her and when she got home and reviewed the paperwork I realized they were distracting her so she would not notice that they charged her MORE for the vehicle than what they agreed to. I will be filing a complaint against Gator with Chrysler since they believe in taking advantage of their customers. More
Showed partial carfax. The part that DIDNT say the airbag had been deployed and wouldn't budge on the price. If your trade in had damage they would definitely take a few thousand off of their offer. I went to another jeep dealer and got more of a car for less the price with a clean history. More
I took my Jeep Compass in for an Oil change and tire rotation just the other day. I was told there were 3 ahead of me but wow I was surprised how quickly the job was done!
