Shopping for a new car isn't always a pleasant one. I've done it many times. But the whole experience was a very good one. Usually, I dread buying a car. (Truck, in this case.) My wife and I had done our research on what we wanted, what fair prices were for each model w/options, what our trade was reasonably worth, our credit, wife and I had done our research on what we wanted, what fair prices were for each model w/options, what our trade was reasonably worth, our credit, etc. Basically, we were armed for bear, game faces on, and ready to go tooth-and-nail. Most dealerships we looked at online wanted email requests for their 'online prices,' and that they were only valid with their internet sales department, you had to bring the email with you, etc. The last time we bought cars using this method, the prices they sent were never the same, as there was always some 'market adjustment' or 'dealer add-on' that wasn't disclosed. (Although there was always an asterisk.) So we go to the dealership, meet Barbara, and drive the truck we were interested in. Didn't need the email, the price was the same as the price we were quoted. The trade offer for our car was a hair low, but still fair. The price of the truck was actually lower than most sites showed for what other were paying, so I feel we still came out on top. In and out, including test drive, negotiations, signing, detailing the truck and filling up the tank, it was all done in under 2.5 hours. (And it was late on a Sunday, with minimum staffing.) Long story short: Dealing with Barbara and Gator was the easiest car buying experience we've ever had. Not only would I recommend them to others, I am planning on going back soon for another car. We came to "just look", but our salesman, Ron Smith, was so "in tune" to what we were really looking for that he took us to your other location just to show us a car that he thought might be wha Smith, was so "in tune" to what we were really looking for that he took us to your other location just to show us a car that he thought might be what we had in mind. Well...he was soooo right! He had listened to not only our words but also my heart and put us in the beautiful black Charger that we now own! Because I have aging parents and my 2 door blue 1994 Camaro (affectionately known as "Nellie") could not comfortably transport them, it was a very emotional time for me. Our salesman, Ron Smith realized it was hard for me to let "Nellie" go because I loved that car for 20 years and it was hard to think of letting her go. He was patient and gave me space and time (lol) to work through it all! We love the black Charger and it was a blessing to have a salesman that did not pressure us and gave us a great deal! Thank you Ron Smith! :) More
