My husband and I came into the dealership looking to replace our worn out car. Magee Sheeler is the sales rep who took care of us. Both Magee and Brian went above and beyond in trying to get us a loan as well as working with our finances so we could leave with our new (used) car that day. Because of these two people, Subaru has gained a forever client as we shall not go anywhere else nor will I go to any other dealership but where Magee is. Thanks for all the help!! More
I always walk into a car showroom dreading what I expect will follow. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere at Gateway and the easygoing but professional presence of Kyle Hutchins. The car buying experience turned out to be much better than I expected. I had in mind what I thought was a reasonable price for both me and the dealer and that price was met. Cars are expensive and I'm willing to pay a little more than perhaps a super aggressive person could get if I feel comfortable with the salesperson. I don't want to sit around arguing with people. I can't tolerate people who aren't efficient or don't know their job. We both like the quiet, calm demeanor of everyone that we met at Gateway. I would recommend Kyle to anyone who asks me about the car. Unfortunately I forget the name of the woman who did our paperwork, but she was "super slick" - no time wasted there which I really appreciated. Bottom line is that I really didn't have to buy a new car, I had come to the area to buy a completely different brand of car, stopped by this Subaru dealer, liked the car and the salesperson and decided pretty much on the spot to buy the car. Great experience and so far a great car. More
I have been researching cars for a few months, not sure what to get. Something not too big but not a sedan; a vehicle a little higher off the ground but not a hugh SUV. Then one day my neighbor drives by what to get. Something not too big but not a sedan; a vehicle a little higher off the ground but not a hugh SUV. Then one day my neighbor drives by in her Forrester. That's it! She let me driver hers around the area and I fell in love! My husband and I had an afternoon off, knew from our neighbor how helpful and efficient Kyle was with our neighbor so headed over to Gateway. (If it had been Kyle's day off we would have come back.) There was Kyle. He showed us the available options and colors they had there, but I decided on the showroom model. Kyle took the time to highlight important information in the Manual and I have had a blast with my new car. Yes!!! I would recommend Gateway and Kyle to anyone who asks me about my Subaru. More

Current car 1997 Subaru Outback, loved it. Wanted/needed new one before something expensive breaks. Did all of our homework on 2014 Outbacks. Emailed all surronding Subaru Dealers. All work was done through email and phone calls. Offered great deal w/good financing we were both happy with. Offered better deal than Winner Dover De dealership where sales manager has known me since 3rd grade, Steve offered better deal/financing without even knowing us and strictly through email at the time. Also customer service skills were A+ for return emails, calls etc., unlike other dealerships. Made appointment, met Steve, super nice guy, took test drive for first time in 2014 Outback, met Wendy, super nice and funny as well, no surprises, all was the way it as promised through previous correspondences, did paper work, got shown around beautiful dealership, got tutored very well on ins and outs of car and drove away very, very happy new 2014 Subaru Outback owners. Received call next day checking up, very nice. Has been helpful w/insurance and road assistance questions since the purchase. Also, we ended up keeping our 1997 Outback and Chuck's brother is giving it to one of his employees as a Christmas present because its still running just fine. WE LOVE OUR NEW (AND OLD) SUBARU!!! This was my first experience with Gateway and buying a Subaru. Kyle was very knowledgeable and helpful to me regarding the purchase of a used vehicle. I did not feel pressured by him or anyone at Gateway. The entire atmosphere of Gateway was warm, friendly and caring. My questions and concerns were addressed and explained thoroughly. Wendy explained the financing options and warranty choices with great clarity. Traveling 2 l/2 hours to Gateway was the best decision I made regarding a car purchase. No doubt I will visit Gateway in the future for my car needs. More
Kevin was a great salesperson, was super friendly, not pushy, and picked up easily on what it was that I wanted. This was our first experience dealing with Gateway Subaru, but will not be our last. We spent some time reviewing different cars on their web site and found one that we were interested in. We called and spoke to Magee Sheeler and she informed us that the Chevrolet HHR was available and invited us down to talk. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and every staff member couldn't have been more helpful. They even went as far as having the HHR brought to the front of the store and it was sitting there waiting for us when we arrived. We asked a lot of questions, received honest answers and and were not rushed in any way. We ended up buying the HHR and drove it off the lot tonight. Everyone there tonight worked together like a team and the sale couldn't have gone more smoothly. I would HIGHLY recommend Gateway Suraru and Maggee Sheeler to anyone and everyone looking for a car. We have shopped around and been to several other lots and stopped our search tonight as there was no need to go anywhere else. To Maggee and every staff member who was working tonight, we can't say thank you enough for making our first experience with you a wonderful one. My husband and I bought our first Subaru when we were living in Vermont. When we moved down here, we needed to get a bigger vehicle for our growing family...so we sadly traded our 2004 Imprezza Outback living in Vermont. When we moved down here, we needed to get a bigger vehicle for our growing family...so we sadly traded our 2004 Imprezza Outback Sport for a Dodge Journey (3rd row sold us). After about a year, we kept pretending that we were happy with this decision, but knew that we had to go back to Subaru. My husband and 3 year old son visited Crystal at Gateway Subaru on Thursday. He came home with a list of deals because Crystal took the time to listen and figure out that we needed: to save money, get a good used car and be happy with the decision. On Friday our family went back to Subaru to make the decision. Crystal was amazing with our son- getting him snacks and keeping him busy while we discussed "grown up" things. When it was time to sign the papers, Wendy was super easy to understand, efficient and personable. We drove home in our "new to us" Subaru Legacy Friday night. My boys were so happy and want to go back to visit Crystal and Wendy. We have known that we are a Subaru Family, but this experience at Gateway was the best we ever had. From now on, we will only be dealing with Gateway and all of my friends and extended family will be notified of this!! Thank you Crystal and Wendy--- you ladies are awesome!!!!! More
