I worked with Kevin to buy my 2000 Ford Lightning. The experience was great from start to finish. He got me to exactly the price I wanted to pay and took care of all the paperwork without a hassle. xxxxxxxx at Gateway Classic Cars I bought a car from an out-of-state Gateway Classic location, so took the word of their Head of Sales, Chris Rockwell, that the vehicle was in great o I bought a car from an out-of-state Gateway Classic location, so took the word of their Head of Sales, Chris Rockwell, that the vehicle was in great operating order. I was told that it was taken for a drive as part of the video photo shoot and that it drove great. Following delivery to my home i drove the vehicle and as I shifted into 3rd gear, it was clear there were major problems. I called Chris and shared with him that something was wrong. Upon his recommendation I called Atlanta Gateway location and they recommended a mechanic. The mechanic looked at the vehicle and called me and told me to come into the service station station, "things are really bad with this vehicle." On the website here is some of what was stated: "This Land Cruiser was recently restored from top to bottom, from front to back" * "The quality of restorations is highest of standards" * "We have had many Land Cruisers in our showroom and this one is by far the best we have ever seen here." These statement are made by Gateway Classics, as any owner of a vehicle is not in a position to make statements re: its quality relative to others they have sold. On the website this company talks about "our cars," but if you have a problem, they state that they take what the seller says and simply put that in the listing on the website. On their website it states, "Our vehicles are published on several websites including..." "Our vehicles..." yet if you have a problem they say, "we're just an ad agency..." More

Do your homework before you buy I was looking for a 1971 Z28 Camaro which I found located at Gateway Classic Cars in Orlando. Since I Live in Texas I called and spoke to Kevin Morse. I was looking for a 1971 Z28 Camaro which I found located at Gateway Classic Cars in Orlando. Since I Live in Texas I called and spoke to Kevin Morse. I was hesitant to buy the car sight unseen but was reassured I would not regret my decision. I was told the car had no oil leaks since the rebuild had just over 1k miles on it. IT LEAKS OIL. I was told the paint was in perfect shape. ITS NOT. I was told they have sold several cars for the seller and all of his vehicles were in pristine condition. I have emailed Kevin several times since June trying to get questions answered regarding some features on the car and have not been able to get answers “because the seller travels a lot for pleasure”. There are all kinds of disclaimers that are part of the deal. I was relying on someone’s word which is entirely my fault. Please do your homework and don’t rely on the person selling the car to be your eyes and ears. I love the car but will have to put some additional money in that was not planned... UPDATE. Today (8/9I received the answers to my questions. I would still advise to do your homework. If I would have done my own homework I would not have bought the car at the price I paid... More

When we were ready, he was very helpful in working with us on the negotiations, sale, and shipping of the car. I definitely had a super experience here and would not hesitate to buy from this Gateway showroom again! I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a classic muscle car (even if it's a Ford). Above and beyond I went to the showroom on a Saturday afternoon not looking for anything specific. I met my salesman Kevin Morse who took me on a tour of the warehous I went to the showroom on a Saturday afternoon not looking for anything specific. We talked cars, told him what I had been looking at from other dealerships and we took some time walking around with him answering questions about the inventory. We got to a certain car which I thought was a beautiful car with a excellent restoration but not what I was originally looking for. After some discussion he got the key, searched for paperwork and went over everything he knew about the car. I met the manager Matt and the guys...good people. I left there after a few hours and spent a week researching the car and price in the market....NO PRESSURE! I was able to take my time and when I was ready i called him and got an immediate call back. I told him what I wanted to pay for the car and he took it to the owner and within 30 minutes I had a call back and the CAR was mine.... I could not have asked for a better experience (including paperwork) or a better Salesman... Great Job would recommend to everyone. Its all about the people and experience, they have both. More
