I took my vehicle in for a recall on a part for the radio and an oil change. My vehicle was at the dealership for an entire day. My radio continues to go out and has done so approximately 10 times since it was "fixed". I am not happy with the service. The issue on the radio was never resolved. I bought a brand new 2024 Chevrolet Traverse from Gateway Chevrolet about 2 months ago. My salesman was Donald Cummings. I traded in my 2020 Honda CR-V because I wanted something with third row seating. After a couple days, I brought the car home. After only two weeks of having the car, it started to literally fall apart, to the point I had to bring it back to the dealership to be serviced. Let me explain to you what I had to deal with after getting a brand new, never used car. After only 2 weeks, the check engine light came on, the remote start stopped working, the driver side window gets stuck and doesn't go down, the backup camera glitches and goes all black, the MyChevrolet app doesn't connect, the brakes squeak very loud, the car makes a clicking noise, the ac smells terrible when it's on, when shifting from reverse to drive the front camera doesn't shut back off, so I have to click the x on the screen to close it out and get it back to the main screen, the tire pressure lights are on, the steering wheel warmer and seat warmers turn on on their own randomly. My service advisor, Jenny, is useless. I can never get a hold of her when I call and she never calls me back, even after I leave her voicemails. She failed to even get me a loaner or rental for 5 DAYS, so I had to go without a car that whole time while I still work full time and have a four-year-old son! Unacceptable! When I was finally able to reach her after chasing her down and calling Gateway Chevrolet numerous times, she got me a rental through Hertz that was already closed for the day, and it was the weekend. What use is that? After I told her they were already closed, she of course was zero help in finding me something to drive. I had to wait again to get a car, or some means of transportation at this point. She put the rental in for all of 3 days. After the 3 days, instead of her doing her job and calling Hertz to extend the rental since my car wasn't done being fixed yet, Hertz then charged me $200 because of her error. I had to again do her job for her and call Gateway Chevrolet several times, while at work mind you, in order for her to extend the rental and then I had to call Hertz back to let them know it had been extended since Jenny never did it. So, on top of buying a brand-new car that I have barely even driven, I get no information about what's going on with my car, can never reach anyone at the dealership when I call, and get ZERO updates about what's even going on with it. I have had to pay out of pocket for Lyft rides because of those 5-6 days I went without a car at all because Jenny didn't do anything to help me and then got charged $200 from Hertz for the rental being extended. The car is clearly a complete LEMON and if it's going to be this much of a hassle, between the car breaking down and never getting any help at the dealership, I can go somewhere else and not have to deal with this stress. More

While I was there waiting for my vehicle to be brought up, two customers from other advisors came up to him with questions. He didn’t dismiss them or send them to their advisor. He simply answered their questions with a smile and helped them find their vehicle. He is a perfect example of quality customer service. More
