Never again take my car or truck to have service done at gateway Chevrolet!!! 2 months my car sat there with no work done to it! Husband took it for an oil change, came back with it leaking. Second issue we had with them. The first one, when they rotated my tires, my sensor is not working for my tires. Gateway Chevrolet held our car for two weeks to do a simple part repair out of sheer laziness. Nothing was done at all in the first week, not even the diagnosis. Once we had the diagnosis, they told us we had to buy the replacement part ourselves or wait another week. We bought the part that day and delivered it to them. The part sat on someone's desk for another 5 days. Any time we asked when the car would be ready, the answer was always tomorrow. Customer service made a note of my partner's phone number and refused to answer his phone calls. We had to call on a different phone to speak with the manager, who admitted that customer service was ignoring our calls. We got a call that our car was ready less than an hour after we spoke to the manager. The manager knocked $50 off the repair bill, but left the $110 gasoline charge. The car had a full tank when we brought it in and was near empty when we got it back. The manager said the work was under a limited warranty, but that would be affected by the fact that we paid for the part ourselves and brought it to them. I hope the car stays fixed, because I have zero faith in any of the dealerships in Phoenix. More
