Mr. Dadisho was absolutely professional. He was not pushy and no pressure. He went above and beyond to ensure our needs. He is the man you need to see. and no pressure. He went above and beyond to ensure our needs. He is the man you need to see. More
I went to this dealership to look at a truck I saw on the internet. I had been in contact with the sales person several times that day and by the time I got there, that vehicle I wanted was "magically sold" internet. I had been in contact with the sales person several times that day and by the time I got there, that vehicle I wanted was "magically sold" so I started looking around the used car lot with Cheryl. One thing I found strange was that every vehicle in the used lot had individual keys and so the sales person had to go back and forth to the showroom and the lot. She made this a big chore and I ended up just looking through the windows of several of the trucks without going into them. She had a 2009 Chevy Silverado pulled up and I loved it. The actual sale of it was so easy, everyone was very friendly and they even had me record a message for their online web stating that "it was so easy." However that was the last "easiest" time I had with them. When we picked up the truck after the detail, there was a chip in the windshield, the car mats were missing, we only received one set of keys and the XM/Satellite radio we were promised did not work. The truck had an after-market stereo but we were promised 3 months free. My salesperson was gone each time I called to get the items I was missing and the chip replaced. My fiance and I have fought with them for over 45 days to get things fixed that should have been fixed a long time ago. (And still waiting!) Bill, the sales manager never returns calls and when he does he keeps forgetting everything we want fixed. This is a truly horrible dealership and I will never give them my business again. They are frauds, liars and just down-right rude. I will let all of my friends and family know of our experience with this dealership. We have 2 years of free oil-changes, but we would rather spend the money then to ever go to this dealership again. More
It is great to work with a dealership that believes in customer care again. I have been dealing with service departments for over 35 years and Eddie Goodwin and his team of service writers and mechanics customer care again. I have been dealing with service departments for over 35 years and Eddie Goodwin and his team of service writers and mechanics are the best i have worked with. They keep you informed, they get the work done the first time and they treat you with respect. I have been dealing with Gateway Chevy's service department for over 6 years and they are the best in the Valley. Keep up the great work. I will tell all of my freinds to come to Gateway for service and to purchase a vehicle as well. More
Took our Pontiac Bonneville in for a brake issue. Needed pads, Rotors etc. However, while working on the vehicle, the service department also noticed that a hub bearing was going bad. The fact that they too pads, Rotors etc. However, while working on the vehicle, the service department also noticed that a hub bearing was going bad. The fact that they took the extra time to look past the initial repairs and make sure to inspect other important safety componants is only one of the many reasons why they are the best! This cost me more money to get repaired but could have possibly saved the life of a loved one. (In our car or another) You cannot put a price on safety... Thank you Eddie and the great folks at Gateway Chevrolet! More
I am very please with this service department because they are committed to their word and do what they say they are going to do. They worked very hard on my vehicle to get it fixed on time. Whenever I h they are committed to their word and do what they say they are going to do. They worked very hard on my vehicle to get it fixed on time. Whenever I had a concern I was met with encouragement by the staff. I always knew what was going on with no surprises and with the amount of time they spent on my vehicle I know they could have charged me a whole lot more. Thank you! More
Awful Service, the first time they forgot to tighten the Awful Service, the first time they forgot to tighten the battery connector the next morning NO START... the second time I took my vehicle there, Awful Service, the first time they forgot to tighten the battery connector the next morning NO START... the second time I took my vehicle there, after the repair were done, they sent a driver to pick me up at home and he was entering address in his GPS while driving scarry ride... picked up my vehicle dirty because they didn't wash it, and the next morning for the second time NO START battery cable no tighten again....this was my last time there. I will keep going to Lunds Cadillac and have a good coffee and bagels or may be some ice cream (free) while waiting. More
Now I know why I had a bad vibe everytime I went. I went in the other day for an oil change and my service rep, George, came back with a list of at least 5 things that were wrong with my car. Out of all of in the other day for an oil change and my service rep, George, came back with a list of at least 5 things that were wrong with my car. Out of all of them the only thing I could afford at that moment was the air filter change. I stopped calulating in my head the "around" repair total when I reached $600 dollars (not including the diagnostic fees) and making it sound like it was urgent I had these repairs done. Among the repairs listed were coolant leak, oil leak, break fluid flush, and my breaks were worn. What made me seriously doubt him were the fact that I just changed my breaks 2 months ago and Ive never had any kind of fluid stains in my driveway, I go days without driving it and my driveway is clean from drip stains. So yesterday I take my car to Nutek Auto (on Central and Hatcher) who several of my co-workers trust their cars with and had Tony (the owner) inspect it (for free). I didnt tell him what Gateway Chevy had found. Tony did come back saying I had a very tiny leak in the rack and pinion (something Gateway did not list in the repairs) but told me its something I had time to save up for since it was an expensive repair. He told me what to expect and what to look for when it got to the point of absolute repair. I showed him what Gateway had listed and he said everyone of those things were in good condition. I will never step foot in Gateway again. Oh and Gateway's receptionist had a major attitude problem. She was very short and didnt look at you when asking her for help. More
I had bought a new car previously from Gateway so I had returned because I was satisfied with service. I went and asked specifically for Donald, he promptly came out and introduced himself. I believed that returned because I was satisfied with service. I went and asked specifically for Donald, he promptly came out and introduced himself. I believed that he was the person who sold my previous Cobalt to me. I think I must have been mistaken. A friend also advised me that Donald had sold her a car, (I recommended Gateway to her). After saying the above. On Monday, Memorial Day, I know it was busy at the dealership. I went to the dealership, requested Donald and he brought an Equinox out for me to test drive as I requested. As I advised him that he vehicle was empty of gas, the light was on, he said, wait one second and he would get me keys to drive a different Equinox. He never returned. I and my wife were left standing with the keys to an empty Equinox; had numerous Gateway staff walk past, not one asked if we were being helped. Very disapointing. We were standing outside for over 20 minutes, prior to my wife returning the keys inside. Donald comes back out, with another couple of customers and walks to the back of the parking lot, totally ignoring the fact that he was on a mission to help me. My wife returned the keys to the manager inside and then was offered all kinds of help. We were determined to drive the vehicle, so we left to test drive other competitors down the road with the hope of returning to drive the Equinox. Donald had my phone number and never called me back, had a copy of my drivers license. I drove a Honda CRV and ended up purchasing it. 2011. You might get a message from Honda, thanking you for sending your business eleswhere. Sorry it didn't work out. Hope my Honda is as nice as the Equinox, if it isn't we both lost out on a great relationship. Hope as customer service persons gateway can learn from this. Don't let being too busy cost you customers. There was plenty of people that could have been sent out to help us. More
I have purchased six vehicles from Gateway Chevrolet. I will be honest with you, not all dealing with Gateway were completely satisfied, however when push came to shove they stood behind their words. If y will be honest with you, not all dealing with Gateway were completely satisfied, however when push came to shove they stood behind their words. If you want to play games and prove your the winner, so you can get ripped off, then don't go to Gateway. They are upfront, honest and will do what they say they are going to do. Wouldn't go anywhere else. More
Another typical dealer trying to rip off consumers. The short and sweet is that they.... - Refused to honor a $3,000 "friends and family / prospective buyer" discount (received from a Chevy retired fam short and sweet is that they.... - Refused to honor a $3,000 "friends and family / prospective buyer" discount (received from a Chevy retired family member). They told us we didn't qualify for the discount, despite us already having the authorization number and showing them on the Chevy website that we did qualify. - Refused to combine discounts that according to the Chevrolet website could be combined ($750 dollar USAA discount and $1,000 Toyota Conquest Cash) - Refused to honor the price that they had posted on the vehicle. The price on vehicle was around $34,000, marked down from around $39,000. When price negotiations started, they started at $39,000, instead of the $34,000 that was on the vehicle. - Didn't offer a military discount, even though other dealerships in the same auto mall complex did offer military discounts... even the foreign companies. - Played the tired, old game where the salesman runs back and forth from the sales manager who of course, "just can't go that low" when talking price. I would rather poke myself in the eye with a rusty, diseased knife than recommend this dealership. More
